Much better compared to the old curved one. Very stylish and looks great in the kitchen.This new machine produces hotter coffees with rounder and fuller tastes then the old one. And it has a larger water container. Easy to clean. Also a lot quieter. Very green as you can throw away the used pads in the food waste bin.Disadvantages is European connector but easy fix with adapter. And slightly difficult to find the senseo pads as they can only been bought online (Amazon or other websites).

First, and most important, this seems to be making good coffee - which is what it is all about! I can't understand how so many manufacturers and users are still putting coffee into little plastic pots that get thrown out. (NB: there's a post-it-back option for one well known brand .... I mean, seriously? Pack it up and have vans carry the waste back in small batches? How is that ecologically efficient?!)So - five stars for the coffee, and it's a coffee maker, after all. But there are no cups included, as the picture implies, and there is no adaptor for the UK - this came with a two-round-pin plug, as in EU. But if you can cope with those irritations, go for it. All Amazon could offer was sending it back and re-ordering, but that meant paying twice (until a refund could be processed) with no confidence at all that a second package would be any different. That is just a waste of time and energy that I really don't feel would be worthwhile, not to mention all the fuel etc to get it to me!I think I will just chalk it up to experience and go and have another lovely cup of coffee .......

The machine itself is superb but there were two things that weren't quite right.In spite of several illustrations, on the website as well as on the box, there are NO cups included.There's no statement to that fact to be seen anywhere - if there was we wouldn't have bought this machine, since it was meant as a present.Secondly, in spite of UK regulations, regarding electrical equipment sold in the UK, there was not a 13Amp plug fitted, but a continental type plug instead.

Replacement for a Very Elderly and malfunctioning Senseo Original which had delivered many cups of coffee, daily, for 5+years.I'm really pleased with this purchase.I chose a Senseo machine originally because the pods are no nonsense and totally compostable, so the new machine had to be the same make and I liked this model for its looks. The hardest decision was which colour to buy..The coffee is definitely hotter and tastes better. The machine is smart and compact, better designed than the original in terms of space needed to keep and use it on the worktop. I welcome the larger water reservoir and the ability to change the height of the drip tray/cup stand. All in all this is a significant improvement over the old coffee-maker, which I was quite happy with. I hope this one will be as durable.

I like that coffee can be prepared quickly.I like the taste of Senseo coffee. This coffee tastes better than any coffee on the American market.I like the foam that not only tastes good but also keeps the temperature of the coffee.I do not like that such a 120V coffee maker cannot be bought in America. I had to order this coffee maker in Germany and also buy a transformer 120V to 220V, and all together cost me almost $300 for a coffee maker that costs less than $80 in Europe.Keurig and a few other super-auto coffee makers (total about $3,000) are in my garage now...

Had a senseo machine a few year ago but found if difficult to get the coffee so when it packed up on me I went for a different brand not so happy with it so when that packed up I decided to try the Quadrant fantastic machine easy to use and can easily get the coffee from Amazon usually next day wish they’d di a mixed taster pack of coffee so you don’t have to buy a full size pack to try the different strengths out but actually I love this machine.

This is a beautiful machine, well made and the water tank slides in from the side instead odpf the bank like most other machines making it east fo fill. Although the machine came from Europe they had already fitted an adapter so that it can be straight away, a nice touch.I needed this machine to replace our Senseo Classic which has been working well since last June but my husband has decided to take it into the office with him as he cannot cope with the, cheaper than, budget coffee that is freely available to him.The quadrants, a coool name, works just like all of the other Senseo machines, it’s not the quietest machine on the planet but it creates no mess at all and is turning out lovely Lavazza coffee with a creamy full crema. A perfect Senseo machine.

Absolute shame it came with an EU plug and no converter EU-UK (if you buy one and dont have a spare, go get an EU-UK converter plug)Other than that, it brews lovely coffee, it's easy to clean/maintain and it even looks good standing in the kitchen

Se togli il porta cialda puoi facilmente spendere l'acqua calda per il tè verde, Quello che non mi piace è che la quantità di caffè (acqua) non è regolabile. Sorprendido con el rendimiento y el buen filtro dejando un café medianamente cremoso. Aparte compre un filtro para esta maquina con tapa para que se pueda aprovechar otra variedad de café molido suelto en vez de la dosis de sobre de filtro de papel. De cualquier de las dos formas sale perfecto el producto. Lo recomiendo, ademas de la linea Cube muy moderna con un deposito de agua fácil de extraer.
