Generally pairs within 10 seconds, and functions exactly like wired CarPlay. I bought one for both mine and my wife’s Jeeps, and she had no problem with hers. I struggled to connect my phone to either device and discovered that the “enable CarPlay” setting in the Carlinkit Apple CarPlay setting in my phone was turned off, so if you are having trouble this could be a potential reason.While I was not looking for Netflix or YouTube functionality on the infotainment screen, it is worth noting that this does not support either and would require a different unit such as the AI box.

Has lag and delayed connection, no matter what I do to change the settings and even reset and tried to connect again. So I returned it, but then seller claims he did not receive it when I returned it more than a month ago. I no longer have the receipt for the return since I was credited back my money. Then I get an email from amazon saying seller did not receive it so they are charging me for it again. I would not buy from this seller again.

The media could not be loaded. I used this product on my 2021 Lexus IS350 F sport. I had a problem connecting to my car. I had it plugged in to the top port inside my armrest plugs. After many tries I was giving up, but decided to plug it into the lower plug and it corrected the problem. I’m using an iPhone 13 Pro Max. It’s been working seamlessly, sometimes connects a bit slower, but still connects. Love it!!!

Bought this for my 2020 Toyota Corolla. The Corolla only supports Carplay native and not Android Auto. I have an android and I bought this based on the good reviews saying it will work to convert Carplay to Android Auto wirelessly. I bought it and... It did not support Android Auto wirelessly. I followed the instructions of clearing my BT connections and connecting to the device Wi-Fi and for the life of me it does not work wirelessly. I have a Huawei P30 pro so maybe that android isn't supported? However, Android Auto does work wired so I was able to at least get that going. The connection time varies. Sometimes it boots relatively quickly around up to 40 seconds. A lot of the times however I need to unplug and replug in order to get it to connect. It can be frustrating. Lastly, I don't think this was built for the scorching hot summers in AZ. The lag during the summer in 110 degree weather is very noticeable lol. This is probably better suited for not so hot climates. Overall I give this a 3/5. Gets the job done most of the time, but not completely satisfied.

Finally no wires at all, I was a bit skeptical because I read through the reviews but honestly mines works amazing no issues, connects automatically right when I turn on the car quality sounds great no lagging. And most importantly the seller reaches out to thank you and offers assistance to set up and or resolve any issue you may have which I love. You better get you one!

My fault for missing the return window. This Carlink just does not work, period. So many issues, it says it’s connected but it’s not. It completely freezes up the dash, lately CarPlay screen has been flashing on/off. It’s just constant issues. We’ve tried to dis-reconnect multi times. It’s awful. I do not recommend. This is an honest review.

The dongle does what I purchased it for. It is a little slow to connect and on rare occasions it doesn’t connect. Reconnecting is easy and simple. Overall I’m very satisfied with it.
