Adventure Time vol 1: v. 1 Paperback – 16 Dec. 2013

Admittedly I am 23 years old and an avid comic book reader. I also happen to adore Adventure Time the TV-Series! When I first heard of the comic book series, I was a bit skeptical, however the artwork is as of taken out of the cartoon series and the writing is so true to the wit and characters of the Land of Ooh!Adventure Time Volume 1 was a pleasure to read and runs at a good pace with a solid story and delivers all the pizzazz and bacon pancakes the TV-series has to offer!

Ryan North is a genius with words and this is no exception.The story is witty and clever and complimented with fabulous artwork. It arrived promptly and my only disappointment was that it contained only one story/adventure so the price might be a little steep for what is affectively one original episode.

Love, love, love this book! Bought for my 9 year old daughter's birthday and she adores it! It reads like a comic full of wonderful coloured graphics straight off the show. We like it so much that we've ordered several more volumes for Christmas! 🎄

As an avid fan of the cartoon series I was thrilled to see that this existed. I love the how the artwork captures the look of the cartoon so well, and the story itself is also great fun. These comics have become the reading library for my unborn child or children.

Ok...1st off..the story was not in the correct order as the comics were published..I'm not sure if the book I received was printed incorrectly or what happened?? It went all of comic 1, half of comic 3, comic 2, comic 4 and the the rest of comic 3...like what the glob??But apart from that it was an enjoyable read once I got my head around it and the illustrations were 1st class!

I'm a massive fan of comic books and graphic novels. I also happen to be a huge fan of Adventure Time so this was perfect!Adventure Time follows the adventures of Finn and Jake, plus the major characters of the television show, as they tackle their greatest enemy - The Lich. The comic is brilliantly written and drawn by the team at Kaboom, capturing the essence of the show.I'd highly recommend this to fans of Adventure Time and to those who are looking to read a fun story. Can't wait til' March for Volume Two!

Beautiful, bright art work, crazy stories suitable for all, and written by one of the great webcomics artists, what's not to love? They also include all the covers from the original comic issues, which are great and done by a wide range of well-known comics artists.

I didn't know Adventure Time as a TV series, but decided to pick the comic up nonetheless. The illustrations are amazing and the colouring incredible. I found myself having a good laugh while reading and appreciating every page turn. On to the next volumes!
