Wow! This knife is SHARP! I recently paid $70 for a very nice chef's knife and this one by Mama's Great is way sharper. I hope it lasts a long time. I have been hand-washing it and drying it right away after each use so we will see. If I remember I will report back in 6 months. Bon Appetit!

this little knife came extremely sharp , sturdy little blade nice wood handle no gaps in construction due to the wood handle I don't run it thru the dish washer . nice surprise good blade

This is a quality kitchen knife. It is sharp, well made and gorgeous. The paakawood handle looks like real wood while promising to be far more durable. It is comfortable to hold, with a good grip. It has a full stainless steel blade, extending fully from tip through base. Combining beauty, function, and durability - this knife is worth the $18 price tag. I'm really pleased with it.

I have a very showy knife in my kitchen already but of course loved the name of this company so had to try it out. This knife has very quickly become both mine and my husband’s favorite! We’re always grabbing this one for chopping and it does the best job! It’s incredibly comfortable in the hands and well-balanced. It’s super sharp and cuts better/easier than any others we own. I consider myself to be very picky in the kitchen and I really love this knife! Absolutely recommend!

This knife comes in a nice gift box and would make a great gift for anyone that likes cooking or eating fruit. I use this knife mainly for slicing small fruits an vegetables instead of using my huge chef knife. It makes cutting small items very easy and convenient. You will need to sharpen it from occasionally to maintain it's sharpness though. Haven't had any issues with rusting. As with all knives, do not wash in dishwasher or it will become dull.

This chef's knife is razor sharp and feels great in the hand. The balance is perfect and the full steel tang makes this a solid knife. The wood handle is eye appealing but very smooth, which can be a nuisance with wet hands, so use caution. I docked a star because in my opinion all good chef knives should come with a protective sheath, this one does not. Other than that, great knife that will get a lot of use.
