Does the job well enough
Judging from reviews, it looks like this laptop is a roulette of it being in good condition or poor condition upon arrival. It looks like I got lucky and mine works well upon arrival. The battery life is poor and the external parts are beat up, but the internal components and the screen are fine. For the low price, I would consider this excellent. Just be mindful of Windows 10's end-of-life coming in late 2025, if security is a risk you care about for your laptop. But for minor school, work, and hobby documents with no seriously confidential information, a cheap laptop with Win 10 like this ought to be good enough.

Works great, very happy : )
It's a small gem that looks great and works perfectly. Well, the #4 key sticks a little, but that's minor. The touchscreen works great. I tried the tablet feature and no problems! I'm very happy with it, especially the lighted power cable. I wish my main laptop had that feature. The battery holds a good charge. It didn't come with a manual, but I can probably find one online.I prefer a larger laptop, but needed a backup to use when I take my main laptop in for some needed repair. I'll also use this one for travel. I had forgotten what a pain it is to set up Windows, but you have to do that with any new computer.FYI, you DO NOT have to set up an online account for Windows. Look for a spot during setup that says "Local Account". For me, it was on the bottom left of the screen when being prompted to set up an account.

Terrible quality control or testing!
The B types a G and the N types an H and vice versa so keyboard is useless. Thanks for the great quality control guys!

Not bad
I will update this review in a few weeks, unless it turns out I have to return it.Pros include:-the size is convenient, great price point, good sound quality, love the touch screen and the versatility, the display is really nice for being 720p, Bluetooth &split screen capability, decent option for digital drawings. The ram is low but it's pretty fast for the ram that it has. The battery life really does last for several hoursCons:Some of the keys stick, making it hard to type, came a smidge dirty but that's okay. The small size makes the keyboard a little hard to use. The USB ports are also very tight, I'm not sure if that Is a design flaw or a defect but it's a difficult squeeze. Low ram and the ram can't be updated. The coating on the case is peeling off in some placesVideo editing (premiere pro) is very slow going due to only having 8 gigs of ram, but it's not impossible.

Awesome linux laptop!
Throw linux mint on it or your favorite distro. Reduced the partition for Windows to mainly run Linux on dual boot. The brand new laptops under $200 are complete garbage. The plastic is so hard it hurts my hands. This model is about 6 years old and works great. Be prepared to get a new battery and possibly a new keyboard. All the replacement batteries suck. They won't last long. I don't care because this is usually plugged in somewhere. There is some glare on the screen but I can get a screen protector. Too many fake reviews especially for laptop parts. This model was made for education. All the newer laptops force you into a stupid Windows account. I almost wiped windows but thought I would just leave it on there as a backup. I will be full time with Linux other than work moving forward. Great laptop. Replacement keyboard was under $7. I won't knock at any stars this meets all of my needs for what it's going to be used for.

Quality control of refurbishment questionable
Only 3 stars because quality control for this refurbished unit was obviously not very thorough! My initial impression was good until I had to find out that several keys on the keyboard are just not working at all or require a certain "sweet spot" to be hitFast typing it not possible and 2 keys are not functioning at allSince I use an external keyboard connected via bluetooth and the item serves my needs I consider to keep it but.....can only recommend this refurbished model if you intend to use the touch screen or have an extra keyboard

Great for web surfing and watching digital movies.
This one was the third attempt at buying one of these that had sufficient RAM (8 GB), and was upgradeable to a larger SSD. However, I ended up peeling off the stick-on refreshening coverings, because it was put on like crap and was peeling up in certain spots. I also rather like the scratches and dents, because I won't have to be careful in preventing them (like one is with a brand new car). I'll probably end up taking some acrylic paint and painting a mural on the top of the lid, anyway.I have no login information on this, as it's purely for web surfing and movie watching, hence the 1 TB SSD I upgraded this to, on to which I can dump a bunch of movies . Using this to visit questionable websites and downloads helps to keep my main PCs safe.
