This hat was absolutely perfect for a 1-year-old. The elastic comes long so you can adjust, tie, and cut it as needed. The hat is sparkly, well-made, and beautiful! And it’s small, the perfect size for baby. It’s also soft (not stiff) and comfortable for a baby’s head. I almost bought a similar hat on Etsy for $16 plus shipping, but the seller was unresponsive. I am so glad they were. This hat is just as nice, much cheaper, and I had it home in two days and with free shipping.

I absolutely loved this party hat. It was very well made and thick. Very cute pink and gold glitter with the pom pom. It did arrive flat so I put it on top of a sippy cup to kind of round it out and get rid of the slight crease in it. You also have to string it yourself which worked out great bc I was able to make it the perfect size for my daughter's head. I just tied an extra knot after I tested it first to make the perfect fit. It's well worth the money I would totally recommend it. Looked amazing in first birthday photos.

Almost a 'foamy' material. Sturdy, so it lasted through a few throws to the ground which is great. The elastic was adjustable so that was good. Solid little hat for a kiddo's first birthday. Nice and sparkly. It's been a few months since we used it, but I don't remember a lot of the glitter falling off, always a nice bonus.I'd purchase it again, but honestly, I think it would hold up if we had a second LO to use this for.

This is a great first birthday hat. My little one didn't mind wearing it- especially when distracted by her cake! I will say it comes flat so you need to get the crease out which was a bit of a pain/takes some advance prep. I wound up putting it over my humidifier to get it slightly damp and then stuffing it was a cylindrical shape while it "dried" to eliminate the crease. Otherwise, I highly recommend!

It’s really small and you have to attach the string yourself which is good so you can adjust the size but bad because you can lose the string if you’re like me. The hat is nice but not a full size one.

This was one of the best purchases that we made for our daughters first birthday party, we got so many compliments! It was the perfect sized diameter for her head and it stayed on for the entire party. It comes folded flat in a plastic bag but easily stood up for us when pushed open and no lines appeared down the sides once opened. You do have to string & knot it yourself (string comes with the hat) but that is super easy to do and the glitter did not fall off as one expects with glittery products.We put the string under her chin and behind her ears well before the party started so that she could get used to it but I think the key to getting the child to accept the hat is distraction while putting it on and not making the string isn’t too tight (but not too loose).

Item was cute but arrived falling apart and difficult to stay open as it is shipped flat. Hat is flimsy and cheap quality. I bought a better quality one on Etsy.
