A lot of good writing in this book. Simply written, easy to understand. Good for spiritual adherent committed to understanding the way of enlightenment. It has a good energy to it also.

The idea set forth on page 141 is enough to answer many questions about one's spiritual journey and the "struggle" with the ego. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for inspiring Dr. Hawkins.

Total gem of a book! Dr Hawkins has stirred something in the soul that wants to merge back with the Source.

With chapters that have titles such as The Spiritual Process, The Inner Path, The Razor's Edge, Allness vs Nothingness, Transcending Identification with the Ego, Enlightenment - The Presence of the Self and Progressive States of Consciousness (just to name a few...); what more can I say? Not much, but this book certainly does.

Not one to be read at a sitting! Vast amounts of information of very high quality which needs to be pondered and assimilated. You won't reach enlightenment through reading this book since that is dependent on so many other factors but this is the best 'How To' book I've found so far. A good route map. If you are serious in your quest for spiritual development then this is a seminal work and incredibly useful. Buy it.
