Rasta ImpostaBacon and Eggs Couples Costume

I cut the stitching and separated the bacon portion in to individual bacon pieces and made a single bacon and eggs costume.

I bought this as a last minute costume for me and my boyfriend because I really didn't want to spend over $40 for something I would wear one day and never use again, and I really didn't have much time to be creative. I just received it today and I'm really liking it so far.Maybe my expectations were too low but I am quite happy with the quality for what comes to $10 per costume. There are folding marks on the egg (the bacon seems fine) but nothing that can't be fixed with a steamer. I'm planning to just hang it in the bathroom while taking a shower. It doesn't look too bad with the marks either, a little bit of wearing in will make it look smoother. The bacon by itself looks nothing like a bacon, but you know it when you're buying it since it looks exactly like the picture. The back of both the egg and the bacon look like a cheap straight jacket and that's where you see the low quality, but honestly, the expensive stuff out there are not much better.The fit seems fine. I'm 5'6''/120 lbs, the bf is 5'9''/ 195 lbs. We each tried both costumes and they fit, so it's good for 2 girls/2 guys as well. The bacon has two ties in the back and the egg has one tie that's around the neck.The shoulders of the bacon feels a bit weird, and that's the one thing you don't see in the picture of the product. The pieces around the shoulders stick out and makes you look ridiculous (actually, you're already a bacon- so who cares), but when you tuck those pieces in it looks a lot better.The only issue I have with the egg - and maybe that's a posture thing - is that the edges are exactly where I normally have my arms hanging. So at least for me, I have to have my arms pushed back a little. Moving your arms forward is another issue, because the edges block your way. I know that's the look and that's how it's supposed to be, but I wish the egg also had tie on the back so I could tighten a little bit and pull the edges in, compromise the look but move my arms more easily. I'm sure it's an easy task to solve this issue for a crafty person, but I'm okay with moving my arms awkwardly for one night.Overall, all the issues with this set can be fixed with little touch ups and It's a great buy for the money.

They are made cheaply, but for the money they did the trick.

Simple last minute costume for a Halloween party. It was a solid couples costume and everyone was able to tell what we were.The costume came in one single plastic packaging with instructions that was not specific for this set of costume, but more of a simple generic cookie cutter one pager they put together and used for all costumes they sell. I did what I normally with instructions and simply put'em to the side.With that being said, the costumes are easy to put on - the egg was simple, put on like a t-shirt and tie in the back right behind the neck for proper fitting (my gf was the egg and she was able to tie by herself). I, the bacon, on the other hand, required assistance, as the costume has a tie behind the neck and lower back.Once on, we were pretty much set for the rest of the night. We were able to move freely all night. Did not get in the way of anything. Comfortable. Most importantly was able to use the bathroom without any problems.Don't expect any high quality costume. It's designed and sold to be at an affordable price and not to sting if lost or damaged. Plus, it's not cool to have the same costume year after year anyways!

This costume has some definite pluses and minuses. I'm giving it 4/5 because with a bit of creativity you can get a lot of costume for low price.The minuses:Looks great from the front but terrible from the back. It's like a small hospital gown made of see-through flesh colored nylon. Not flattering. However, if you can think of a way to cover it up, like with a cape? Then your problem is solved.The bacon is rather dreary. There's no detail and the fat has kind of a creepy gray tone to it. It's sort of cartoony but also sort of weak.They come folded. Steaming helps a lot. I was able to get all the creases out of the egg with some careful ironing work.The pluses:If you steam them out, the egg is very vibrant and looks great. It's almost got a shine to it.Good foundation costume if you can build on it.You can easily be Super Bacon and Deviled Egg.

This is for Halloween next year. Should be fun to wear. We have a small town that gives out treats at a small park. They have free food and drinks. We put our candy in the back of our suv. We sit in chairs and pass out candy to kids. It is a safe place for those to join others and walk. We have crazy music and it is a real fun place to be for a few hours. My husband and I really like it and others that do the same. We get to know them better. It is a great day. This place has nice costumes for not a lot of money. I like to do some thing different each year. We were peanut butter and and jelly on bread. Many figured out what we were. They thought we were cute and enjoyed we dressed up.

This was the perfect costume for my horse barn party! I was looking for something fun. I dressed as deviled eggs and my horse Shakespeare was dressed as Kevin Bacon. It was hilarious and a huge hit. I even was able to ride him dressed like an egg 🤣

This set is a big hit with my family. My husband and I are grandparents and wanted to surprise our family by dressing up in these. My husband is pretty husky -- Usually wears a 44 to 46 size jacket and this bacon costume fits him comfortably although it might be a little snug on a man bigger than him. I am average sized size 12 woman and my egg is comfortable and roomy. Such a great value for the money. I got the wrinkles out by hanging them in the bathroom while I took a hot shower. I recommend this for anyone who wants a cute couples costume and doesn't want to spend a large amount of money on it.

Perfectly adequate costumes considering the economical price! The bacon is a bit lost on his own but add a few accessories, chef's hat, etc, and stay together and all will be well. My husband is 6'3" and too comfortable a build but it encircled him regardless. One size truly does fit all in this case.

Got alot of weird looks but got costumesHard to tell what the bacon is if the egg isn't there but a decent costume

these were great at the music festivals i went to so far, very light to wear and still easy access to the toilets !!!!!!

Great fun

Really enjoyed wearing this outfit we looked good. Added a red hat and a brown hat as sauces.
