Global Political Economy: Evolution and Dynamics 5th Edition

I have assigned editions of this book to my university juniors and seniors in International Political Economy for 14 years. It is still the best text for many reasons. For one, is is not nearly as US-centric not as state-centric as most of the others are. It has an historical perspective, has very useful charts and boxes, and considers dimensions such as gender that other ignore. I'm assigning it again next term and hope it stays in print even if there are no new editions.- Professor Kathleen McAfee

Travesty this kind of false, biased, mis-informed, misguided text passes as 'academic work'. Complete Garbage. Blows the horns of other civilizations but downplays the importance of 'African civilization.' Chapter 3:Forging a world economy"The willful ignorance in this book is appalling!
