Excellent keyboard for the money
Just bought this keyboard as my entry to the custom keyboard world, after a lot of research I settled on this and I am glad to have done so.The build quality is great, although it is plastic it feels very sturdy and premium with almost no flex in the case. The sound profile is excellent. On top of this, it uses a south-facing PCB which is very rare at this price point. The stabs are factory lubed and sound very good, although the spacebar has a bit of a rattle. The aluminium knob is also very good and does not wobble, with excellent haptics.

Metal plate lets it down
The EPOMAKER TH80 Pro 75% is a solid keyboard with a great layout and smooth typing feel. I enjoy using it daily, but there’s one downside: Epomaker doesn’t offer alternative plates for this board. The default metal plate can make it sound a bit rattly, especially with certain switches. If you’re into modding or want a quieter, more refined sound, this might disappoint. Still, it’s a good product for the price—just don’t expect much flexibility with the plate.

Cool board
Great board, gets the job done. However the RGB is a bit on the dimmer side.

Budget board with huge potential
I’ve painted the frame and modded the board/stabs with every method known to man. Paired with Akko switches that I’ve hand lubed, this board performs as well as other boards I have that are 3X the price. Despite a plastic construction it has a very good weight to it. The “gasket” element of the board is more of a gimmick than what you would expect of a true gasket mounted keyboard but for gaming I much prefer a less spongy feel anyway. Very easy to mod, south facing leds. Top banana

BREAKS EASILY
Not even a month into using it there were issues with the pcb. every now and then the keyboard will stop functioning and if not that then keys wont press after 5-10 clicks. I have had 3 other epomaker keyboards since 2023 all of which had the same issue. New keyboard, gone bad within a month. I treat things with respect as it is expensive so it is an issue in the company.
