Perfect LED replacement for outdoor string-lights...so far
Because of my sordid history with anything LED, (color temperature way off, flicker, short life, etcetera) I am going to make this a sort of blog review. I will come back and update the review as the spring and summer wear on. With so many replacement bulbs to choose from, I did quite a bit of research on these particular set of bulbs (they were the fifth box or boxes I had added to my cart before deciding on them).3/31/19: Installed the bulbs in our outdoor "heavy duty" E26 strand of deck lights originally purchased at Lowes (but available here too). Originally, they came with small Edison-style household based incandescent bulbs. The original bulbs were turned on in June of 2016 and were one pretty much 24/7 at varying levels of dimmer output. Only in the past two months or so did they start to burn out. I decided to pay extra for the LED's just because I think they look neat. These Brimax 2 watt S14 bulbs have a rated life of 30,000 hours at like 3 hours a day or some such. I'm gonna make a concerted effort to turn them off (or at least all the way dimmed down) when not in use and not be lazy like before. So they will get maybe 3 hours per day but not at "full blast". We use them more for ambiance rather than sight. They are slightly more "cool" color temperature wise than the incandescents were, but within an hour or so we could not tell the difference. Still, a nice sunset glow, not cold and harsh at all. They are definitely bright when the dimmer is wide open. I suspect our dimmer is a new style required by some LED's, as it has a continuous brightening depending on how you adjust. All the way down, and they have a neat glow that is just barely visible. No flicker is detectable.I ran them overnight for about 15 hours on high. They were all still alive when I checked. I have them turned all the way down now and will do another half day and see how they behave. Plus it is supposed to go below freezing tonight, so that will be another test.I was very impressed with the packaging and packing of the bulbs. They were neatly sandwiched between two sections of closed cell foam. Brilliant way to protect them. The bulbs were well made and we experienced none that were faulty or didn't work. That in and of itself was surprising. We lit 24 of the 25 in the box.According to the manufacturer "We provide after-sale-service for the first two years, no matter what happened during this time, you could message us for replacement or fees back.". I assume this means if one burns out within that time, they will offer a replacement. 30,000 hours by 24 hours is 3 years, so we'll see how long ours last. There is contact information at the manufacturer's website at langmacndotcom. So far, two days in, and I am very impressed and would definitely buy these again. Perfect for our deck.

This was an ambien purchase, but turned out to be a sweet dream rather than a nightmare.
Bought these the other night while falling asleep. Had recently purchased a new LED light set to add to my many year old incandecents. The night I turned the new ones on, was a reckoning for me. I was floored. I also read the box and was like, dude i can hook up 24 of these sets rather than like 3 of the old ones. But, I went inside and turned off the lights thinking - I'm going to just settle for having a mix of incandescents and LEDs in the backyard. It's fine. Two days later the new LED replacements showed up, and I realized I bought them after taking my pill. I assume I was thinking, you know what - I deserve these. I can do more, they'll be longer lasting and use less electric. But those are all assumptions because I have literally no memory of my purchase decision. So I got two boxes of these new lights in a box, and decided to replace all the incandescents with the new LEDs. After switching out about 40 lights (I couldn't get to a few because they're surrounded by Jasmine), I went and plugged everything in. Bruh. Lights are brighter than I ever anticipated. It's awesome. Great purchase. Would purchase again, but hoping I don't considering I've now replaced all the lights in my string. So thanks Amazon for making purchases so convenient that I can do so on my sleeping meds, and thank you to this manufacturer for making really high quality lights, and thanks to the reseller for not trying to gauge the literal piss out of everyone in order to get rich quickly.

It’s bright and solid
These garden bulbs are of enough good quality: they fit the socket without any issue, are bright and what is the most important for me - made of a glass and not a plastic. Comparing it with e.g. Feit bulbs, I noticed some difference between the two color temperatures. It might be subjective but Feit bulbs seems to be somewhat warmer. See for yourself - look at the supplied pictures (Feit bulb photo is taken against of a brick wall).

Works fine with Harbor Frieght String Lights.
They'll work with HF string lights that come with just a 1w bulb. You have to screw them in good as the socket edge touches the bulb but the socket is rubber and gives. Plug in your string and givem a good twist till they come on. They don't get hot and put out twice the light the stock HF bulbs that come with it does. I like them.

Fantastic bulbs. Match the Brightech Ambience Pro strings perfectly.
I received the incandescent version of the Brightech Ambience Pro Outdoor lights as a gift but wanted to use the LED version. So I bought one of those: Brightech Ambience Pro LED Commercial Grade Outdoor Light Strand with Hanging Sockets - Dimmable 2 Watt Bulbs - 48 Ft Market Cafe Edison Vintage Bistro Weatherproof Strand for Porch Patio Garden -Blk and I got these bulbs to go in the incandescent string, and they match perfectly. Same Edison-style vintage look, same 2700k color temperature. The two strings are indistinguishable and look fantastic in the yard.I got a Lutron dimmerLutron TTCL-100H-BL Credenza Dimmable CFL/LED Dimmer, Black to go with them (keeping the dimmer under shelter as it is not outdoor rated) and the whole setup is amazing. I strung them around the whole outside border of the yard and put them on a timer. Now we can have a soft glow, or literally light up the entire back yard at night. The two-watt LEDs are a 20-watt equivalent I think, so you can read by these things if you want, or dim them down for ambience. We've had a lot of smaller LED string lights go bad, so I'm hoping the heavy Brightech strings are as "weatherproof" as they claim. They sure look sturdy, and these bulbs make a beautiful light.Five bright, shiny stars for the Brimax bulbs.
