Hobie Mirage i11S Inflatable Kayak - Mango/Slate

I bought an iTrek 11 and spent $2799. Hobie throws you with the cheapest paddle and a toy electric pump. The old paddle has an adjustable shaft. That toy electric pump doesn't have an air pressure gauge. They wish you blow out your $2799 kayak and get a new one again. I wish that I can return this product.

for the price, these should be advertised with their life expectancy. I love Hobies but the inflatables do not last like the roto molded boats.

Fun craft on inland lakes. Had it out in 20 mph winds, which makes steering a bit difficult, but doable! Stable in wind chop waves and with motor craft wakes. Good for fishing, but tough to get anything out of a crate behind the seat while operating on water. Best to store limited gear beneath the seat.One really dumb design flaw. The plastic rudder control fastens to a bracket on the seat, with a narrow channel and very flimsy, thin plastic piece holding it all together. Guaranteed to break. I had it for less than a month before it broke, and I have been gluing it back together ever since. The narrow plastic piece does not have much surface to bind with glue. The base of the rudder control should have been made of metal.
