Orbi Pro replaces Lynksys Velop
Replaced Linksys Velop system with half the number of Orbi satellites. Works great with my Tivo Mini's. Netgear Orbi Pro mesh network is the best wifi we've ever had in our 100 year old plus home. Add the weatherproof outside unit and this is a win win on all fronts.

Great WiFi System for a Smart Home
So far this ORBI meets my need. I currently have 46 WiFi devices connected to my ORBI set-up.It works well with Spectrum Internet. Although I have to use 3 ORBI (a router and 2 satellites) to cover a 1900 sqft area. I did not get 3 bars signal for all my devices when I used only 2 ORBI. With 3 ORBI I get 3 bars for all 43 WiFi devices inside the house and only 1 bar for my Rachio Sprinkler Controller, Nest Doorbell and Nest Outdoor Cam which are set-up outside the house. This is the reason why I’m giving the ORBI 4 star rating because the set-up for 2 ORBI is advertised to cover at least 3000 sqft, and I have to use 3 ORBI for my 1900 sqft. home.Over all the ORBI works well with my set-up. It works well with my Macbooks and iPhones (contrary to the reviews I’ve read that it has problems with Apple devices. It also works well with Philips Hue, Nest, Wemo, Rachio, MyQ, August, PetNet, among others.

Outstanding solution
Great system. Solved my speed issues. Connected to my gig fiber system and now have 400mb+ all over my house. Easy to setup. Couldn’t be happier.

Whole system kept going off; terrible support
I added this satellite onto my orbi system. At some point the whole system kept going down. The Netgear support service is absolutely terrible and I've switched to Eero after just giving up. I invested a lot of time and money into this so am very frustrated and angry. Eero has been MUCH better for me.

Orbi Isn't Always "Orbi"
Netgear evidently doesn't understand how confusing it might be to call both their home product and business product "Orbi", especially when they are incompatible with each other and require 2 different apps. I also will note that you cannot call Netgear when you have an issue 30 days after purchase unless you buy their support package ($75-150). Very poor customer service if this is how they treat customers.I purchased their top of the line Orbi "home" system functioning at 3Gbps, along with a plug in satellite for upstairs functioning at 2.2 Gbps. They both interacted perfectly. So when I needed an extension for outdoors, I chose the 3Gbps Orbi "Pro" satellite to ensure the quality of signal. I didn't install for a few months during home renovation. Once the backyard was ready, I found after failing multiple attempts to get the satellite to connect to the router, I contacted Netgear (via chat since I didn't purchase the $100 service package) and was told the Orbi "home" and Orbi "Pro" were incompatible. Are you kidding? I went back to the Amazon page where I purchase this and Netgear never overtly states the "Pro" Orbi is not compatible with the home version. I had to search the Q&As to finally find a similar question had been answered as one of the 90+ Q&As. So now I cannot return this due to the timeline and Netgear has not responded to my email requests to swap out with a compatible version. So I'm stuck with a $200 piece of junk.I will look for other options vs. Netgear next time I upgrade my home wireless system. You've been warned.
