Decent inexpensive ligature.

This did not work well
I tried several times to get this to fit, leaving a bit of space to adjust the reed. It was really too small for my alto mouthpiece (Yamaha 4C). The screw fell off before I could expand it enough.

Pay for a better ligature and cap.
Ligature difficult to tighten and reposition. Cap did not fit to hold on to mouthpiece and ligature.

Pretty good
My son began playing the saxophone in July, and seemed to go through one of the metal ligatures each month. He is 11, and he kept over-tightening them and stripping the screws. I got tired of buying those cheapie ones every month, so I hoped that this one would be better quality, made to last. I bought this and gave it to him in November, and so far so good (it is now January)! I did have to mention to him that this one should be better than those others, and to take better care of it by not tightening it so much (which I had before of course, but you know, he’s 11). It seems to still be doing well, and I almost feel like the tone he gets with this ligature is a but smoother and warmer, but I could be imagining that. Overall, he and I both like this ligature so far 😊
