I read a LOT of reviews for neo-angle shower pans, and chose this one because: it is acrylic over thick fiberglass, for strength; it has non-slip nubs; and has a low threshold, in case I break my leg again. No, it wasn't the cheapest I found, but I wanted one that, with good cleaning practices, will last for thirty years. I always look for quality, not the lowest price.

Few cosmetic chips on edges, but we knew that ahead of time getting it from Warehouse deals. Honestly though they made no difference this is very sturdy and is holding color well and cleans great. Disclaimer: We are not professionals just a diy trying to help other diyers. Now somethings that would have helped to know for sure when installing that we had to do a bit of research on I'll share with you. Yes you will need to put mortar (quikrete) underneath. It will take approximately an 80lb bag. Put the quikrete in the space making sure you wont have empty pockets, make sure it is level. Set the shower liner on then DON'T adjust. If it is unlevel when you go to put the shower floor on and you do have to adjust, you will have to take it all the way up and "un-form/ unflatten" the quikrete.So it will have "clean slate" to make a good form. Put a lot (we used three 50lb animal food bags) of weight and leave it overnight. That whole don't adjust would have saved us a ton of aggravation because it messes up the form. Can't comment on wall set or door size compatibility because we built our own walls (fiberglass wall panelling) and use a curtain. Again not professionals but it turned out great!

I am quite satisfied with the quality and affordability of this base. It was quite easy to install but as a diy like myself I suggest you find some instruction videos just to make sure you dont screw up. I used the item with the corresponding dreamline shower enclosure and it looks awesome.

Nice base to match up with Dreamline glass surround.Well made, but just like other brands I have used nothing near the old school ones being replaced that were built like tanks and had likely 3x the material.Do try your best to get it fully level, and square up the walls best you can to save headaches when installing the glass surround.

I got this for my hunting cabin, pretty rudimentary setting. Didn't want to bother with seating it in crete. It has supports on the bottom that sit solidly on the foor. We just marked the location for the hole, cut the floor, plopped it in pace and put a few screws along the flange to the wall. Didn't bother with the enclosure, used a cheapo curtain from amazon ($10) and just trimmed it a bit (ceiling is low). I soldered up a curtain rod with copper I had laying around - the commercial "neo angle" rods are ridiculously expensive. A dozen or so showers in it so far and no sign of stress or flex. Very pleased.

I have been finishing off my basement and in the bathroom I am finishing off I needed a shower base. My Carpenter went over the +/- of a shower base like this and having him build a tile one.I decided on a base mainly due to the less maintenance.I looked at them at my local Home Depot and Lowes and was shocked how poor of quality they were for how much they were wanting for them. The seemed very flimsy and cheap. I about skipped the option until I got on Amazon and saw this model.I was a little concerned about it after the ones I've seen the stores but I was thrilled once I opened and handled it. It was so much heavier duty than the others I've seen and had a very nice expensive looking finish to it.

I ordered one with Neo-Angle and received it without Neo-Angle.An expensive mistake, my contractor charge me for time wasted.Maria

Made a custom shower (pinterest lol) product was perfect! But delivery personnel ignored instructions and left package in neighbor's cattle pasture! Product durability!
