1.5 Litre Square Jar

I love these. The square shape means they fit well together on shelves. The only thing I wish for would be some kind of permanent marking on the bottom or jar itself to say what the storage volume is.

This is weird. It's just a jar for my biscuits to go in, so what? Maybe it's my age but god damn, I love this Kilner Jar! Being enthusiastic about a glass jar wasn't on my bingo card this morning but I'm beyond impressed. The quality is superb, especially the lid with air tight seal. It's bigger than I expected but that means more biscuits. Will definitely be buying more. Kudos Kilner.

Amazing product. I got many other Kilner jars because it's really the only way to keep certain foodstuffs fresh, such as flour and herbal teas. I'm replacing all ikd jars eith Kilner. Good value for money.

These Kilner jars are great quality, as you would expect. The jars are perfect, well made and easy to use and clean. The metal clip is very well made and very strong. I have some old ones, which are a little bigger, I can see the slight updates in design, on the metal clips and rubber seal, which have got better. The only thing I found difficult to remove is the small oval metal part, which is used to hold the clip mechanism on the jar its self, is a little difficult to insert or remove (which can result in the oval metal loop flying across the room on occasion). Wish they would update this design to ensure the loop can be put on and taken off when needed (mainly when washing the jars). Great jars

We use these for storing premium flour to help keep it fresh and dry. We buy 5 x 1.5Kg bags of flour at a time needing 7 jars. The jars are stable when we stack them two high in the cupboard, and easy enough to handle and open/close. Being square they take up minimal storage space sitting side by side. They're a little on the pricy side but given their sturdiness and quality should last for years. The jars have wide necks so easy to get your hand inside for cleaning. Keep an eye out for offers from the likes of Dunelm and others at sale time as when buying a few, 20% off can make a difference.

Ich nutze das Kilner Bügelverschlussglas mit 1,5 Litern Fassungsvermögen seit April 2026 und bin rundum zufrieden. Das Glas macht einen sehr hochwertigen und stabilen Eindruck. Der Bügelverschluss schließt zuverlässig und dank der Gummidichtung bleibt der Inhalt gut geschützt. Ich schätze besonders, dass das Glas luftdicht verschließt und sich dadurch ideal zur Aufbewahrung verschiedener Lebensmittel eignet. Die quadratische Form gefällt mir ebenfalls sehr gut, da sich das Glas platzsparend im Schrank verstauen lässt. Gleichzeitig ist die Öffnung groß genug, um das Glas bequem zu befüllen und zu reinigen. Auch nach mehreren Monaten regelmäßiger Nutzung funktioniert der Verschluss noch einwandfrei und das Glas sieht nach wie vor aus wie am ersten Tag. Genau so wünsche ich mir ein hochwertiges Vorratsglas. Für mich stimmt hier einfach das Gesamtpaket aus Qualität, Funktionalität und Verarbeitung. Ich bin mit dem Glas sehr zufrieden und vergebe gerne 5 Sterne.
