Complete Newb, but I’m happy.
I did a fair amount of research online and Iwata kept coming up as offering a good range of airbrushes at a middle price point. So although I have zero experience to base this review upon, my impression is that the kit does offer the beginner a really good start point. The compressor is nicely compact and offers a couple of pressure levels; it’s simple to use and pretty quiet, just burbling away on its rubber feet. The airbrush itself has a nice weight and feel, and although I’ve not strip cleaned it yet seems well put together.

I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed!
I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed! This kit has exceeded all of my expectations. The first thing that struck me about this kit is its quality. The airbrush itself is beautifully designed, with a comfortable grip and excellent balance. It feels solid in my hand. The gravity-feed cup is also very easy to clean, which is a major plus. The airbrush sprays flawlessly, delivering smooth and consistent lines every time. The control I have over the paint flow is exceptional, allowing me to achieve the exact effect I want. I've used this kit for a variety of applications, from painting models to customizing t-shirts, and it has never let me down.Overall, I would highly recommend this kit to anyone in the market for an airbrush. It's an excellent value for the price and provides awesome results.

Works better than I expected.

A good airbrush kit for beginners
Solid product, only complaint is the hose that connects to the compressor, which only has one locking ring. Locking rings on both ends of the hose would be ideal.

Quality airbrushing compressor and gun for Makeup Artists.
If you're a Makeup Artist that does Bridal Makeup, unfortunately, you'll get a lot Brides that want airbrushed foundation.I'm just going to be honest and say I'm not a fan of airbrushing foundation on the face.I didn't want to invest a lot of money into this airbrushing thing, but I also wanted decent quality gun and compressor.I did some research, made sure the information was recent and found that we only need a compressor with a psi of 15 for applying foundation.I think this compressor has more than enough psi for foundation and tanning airbrushing. For reference I'll list out the foundations and products I used when testing out this compressor and air gun.Mehron Mixing MediumMAC Studio Radiance Sheer Foundation (Waterbased)MAC Face and Body in white (Waterbased)MAC Prolongwear Concealer (Silicone Based)MAC Studio Radiance Sheer Foundation is a waterproof foundation made for the face and body. I would say the consistency is like melted ice cream. So, I did purchase the Belloccio compressor and air gun kit, as it was on sale, and it did not have enough psi or power to push my MAC Studio Radiance Foundation out of the gun...The Neo Air had no issues pushing the MAC Studio Radiance Foundation out of the gun. I was impressed, it was such a difference.I would also say that using the compressor on high is way too much pressure for someones face, especially if you pull the gun trigger all the way back. The airgun has a dual action trigger. So, you press down to engage the air, pulling all the way back increases flow and coverage, you can move the trigger forward and back depending on how much product you want to apply to the skin.I added in a pump of my Prolongwear Concealer to my Studio Radiance in the well, which is a silicone based concealer, and had no issues with the gun clogging, I still used the compressor on medium, with medium pressure on the trigger.I didn't need to thin out the viscosity of any of my products for the Neo Air to work with my products.I feel I could use about any foundation and concealer combo I want, as long as I keep the product consistency relatively viscous. If you're a MUA looking to invest in an a good quality airbrushing compressor and gun, this little fella is perfect. We travel a lot, and set up space is limited, we don't want to lug around a heavy compressor that takes up our limited working space, the Neo Air is about the size of a medium pack of makeup wipes, and is super light and relatively quite. If you're looking for a great foundation for Bridal Makeup or just in general, that you can use traditionally and with airbrushing.I really recommend the MAC Studio Radiance Sheer Foundation or Dior Backstage Face and Body for their versatile color range and they're foundations that you can use traditionally or with airbrushing. Please NOT buy Kett, Temptu or any "airbrushed foundation system" they're garbage.
