Replacement for Dell Inspiron 15 5568 i5568 5578 i5578 P58F P58F001 0079Y 00079Y FHD 1920x1080 40 Pins 15.6" LCD Screen Display Assembly with Bezel(Right-Angled Bezel)

I have a Dell Inspiron 5000 15 with a 15.6 inch display. It is almost 6 years old. Last year, I replaced its hard drive with a 1T byte SSD. The performance improved significantly - it now boots in second. Unfortunately, the CPU in this laptop is not win 11 compatible, but it works perfectly fine for my usage. A few months ago, the LCD screen started developing very annoying bubbles and they just kept getting worse. A couple of months ago, the lower left side of the screen showed a bright light. almost obscuring the screen. So, I decided to replace the screen. Since the laptop is almost 6 years old, I was reluctant to spend a lot of money for the screen. I started searching the internet and found one on one of the auction sites for close to $200. Then, I got lucky and found this one on Amazon. I ordered the display and it arrived as promised in 3 business days. I installed the screen and turned on the laptop. Be aware that replacing a laptop screen needs skills and lot of patients. The laptop turned on but the touch feature would not work. So, I contacted the vendor and he advised that I ask for a replacement. I did and they sent me another one right away. I installed the second one and after tweaking the screen and pushing the bottom corners, the touch feature came alive. The screen has the original Dell logo on it, but of course it is made in China. I am very happy with the quality of the screen. The vendor was very cooperative also. Thank you! I will keep my laptop for another six years.
