Super cool! Good price for the overall effect.
Whoohoo! I really feel like a teacher now! Growing up with calendars like these with the neat themed month name inserts... made going to school so much better, we never had a calendar at home and these big ones are so much better for kids. I have it uses in our home school room, it's awesome. A standard post it fits perfectly over the number and can he used to indicate any event not included. Every school room needs one!If I were to he very critical, I would say that I wish october and November backgrounds looked less similar and that December and January have very similar backgrounds too, so it's not as exciting to change those out. I think I'll change them on my own.

Handy pill reminder system too!
I love my calendar pocket chart! I use it as a visual reminder to take vitamins. I take a multivitamin every three days but I take omega 3/6/9 and b12 daily. The pockets are large enough to tuck perhaps three large pills and possibly more.I thought of doing this because I have problems remembering to take vitamins unless I have a visual, concrete reminder.I hang the calendar on the back of my bedroom door that is always closed at night. So in the morning when I’m leaving the bedroom, after waking up, I see my calendar and get my pills. The only bad thing is that pills can pop out. I might start using cellophane bags to tuck in the pockets but so far the pills only pop out once in a blue moon. This works for me! And I’m experimenting with changing to a plant based, high nutrition diet so I need to buffer that with vitamins every 3 or 4 days. This helps me be consistent and accountable to myself because if I forget to take the pills, I can clearly see what days I missed. That’s good if you have memory issues!

Well made and easy to switch each month
This is a classic calendar pocket chart that you'll find in many teachers' classrooms. The 12 vibrant Months of the Year pieces are easy to read, with fonts and colorful backgrounds for the theme for that particular month. It includes the Days of the Week with the day written and the abbreviation. The pockets for the individual dates are large and fit pieces from other calendar sets that I've purchased and I can interchange them easily. I've been teaching for 30+ years and this is my second one of this style, they are so durable. My previous one got ruined from a leaky roof tile in my ceiling! I was glad to see that this same pocket chart was still available.

Great visual aid
I purchased this calendar to use with my 2 and 1/2 year old grand daughter. I am retired from kindergarten and was so bummed that I didn't save any of my pocket charts. This met my needs and expectations. She loves it. I did choose to laminate the numbers because she will be touching and using them and even though they are heavy coated card stock I knew from years of experience that they would get bent eventually. The numbers are large and bright which is just what I need! Thanks so much for a great product!

Not very sturdy
Really nice and colorful. Did not realize I would have to cut out all of the pieces though.. this took forever and looks a bit more sloppy than if they would have came cut.No storage for the other numbers/months.. When you put the other months behind your current month at the top, it sags quite a bit. Could be more sturdy so you can do this, otherwise you'd just have to put them in a drawer or something.Overall, good product and just what I needed.

best $20 I ever spent
This is great for my 4-year-old. He likes to know what is going on in our house and he can see visually what is coming up such as Daddy working out of town, friend's birthday party, trip to the park, etc. I have a great time making my own 3 x 3 squares using card stock etc. to personalize it. I also use it to meal plan for the week and stick to my chores schedule. It has been a huge help in organizing my home. I used to work as a psychologist and now I'm a stay-at-home mommy. I prefer using this type of system to using my smart phone. I haven't had it a whole year yet but it seems to be holding up well. That being said, I hung it up high enough on the wall that I'm the one who changes out the paper squares. It might not hold up so well if my son was switching it out every month.

Pocket calendar
OMG! Why didn’t I switch to this years ago? SO much easier than putting the ticky-tack on the back of the date card and sticking it onto the laminated poster board calendar! The change-out at the end of the month is a lot quicker and easier too! So far, all the calendar numbers I’ve printed out from various sources (TPT, etc.) and purchased from Teacher stores work great! The fabric is sturdy nylon, another great thing as the Fire Marshall doesn’t make us spray them!Again (slap forehead here) why didn’t I purchase this years ago!!!?

Cute wall calendar!
Cute wall calendar for the classroom. The pockets are only covered about halfway up for each pocket (why sturdiness is rated 4) but nonetheless I like it.It is colorful and easy to change. It gives extra cards for bdays and such, too. The only unexpected issue for me is there are no perforations so get your scissors ready!
