Mulled Spice Christmas Celebration Black OP Loose Leaf Tea by Simpli-Special for Hot or Iced Tea (100g in Resealable Pouch)

Love the smell and flavour of this tea. I let it brew for a few minutes in a teapot with hot water. Two teaspoons of it are sufficient to make about 5 cups/3 mugs of tea. Often I add cinnamon sticks or cloves to my loose tea, but this one obviously doesn't need any such additions. I will occasionally add some orange zest/slices or some raisins though. I do not think this particular tea combines well with lemon, but I do enjoy it with some honey. It's branded as Christmas tea, but I have it whenever I feel like it, as I think it's a shame to leave it in the cupboard unused. Perfect for those who like flavoured tea, as it combines many of them beautifully.

This tea makes your whole kitchen and home - smell of Christmas - it was so nice I have used it all up and am ordering another one for Christmas - highly recommended if you love the orange spice of Christmas aromas - just lovely.

I've bought this tea a number of times over the years. When I first came across it I loved it immediately. Gorgeous smell and lovely warming, spicy flavour. Then one year they changed the packaging from a black vacuum-sealed pack to a green resealable bag and the tea changed too - it was more of a light flowery smell and taste. Nice enough but not Christmassy and warming. More of a spring/summer tea.Then they changed it back to the lovely spicy tea for a few years (although the packaging remained the green resealable bags).And now this year they've changed the tea again. It is still warming and spicy but nowhere near as strong and the smell is totally different too. Again, it's ok but it is disappointing - not what I was looking forward to for my Christmas tea.I will probably try again next year to see if they go back to the proper stuff but if they don't then I'm going to have to find an alternative.Why do producers always feel the need to mess about with something when they've already got an excellent product?

Delivered quickly and in good condition. When I opened the packet my wife instantly asked what it was because it smells so warm and festive. I prefer black teas to fruit or green teas and it goes really well with a dash of milk. It was delivered initially to a neighbour (not the seller’s fault) and when I contacted them to let them know they were really polite and helpful. A small family business that I will be ordering from again.

Tastes very artificial and perfumy, not a classic Christmas tea, no orange, overpowering. Taylors is a better option, or if you can get it, Jardins du The - Noel The

I do like a nice Xmas tea each year. This one was good though not as strong as I’d like, but just gave it a good stir in the pot to get a meatier brew. Nice with some sugar and milk

This tea is remarkably light and refreshing not to mention has a great smell! Its a little mix of everything and not only does it make a pleasant hot drink but making it into Iced tea taste great and will be perfect for summer.Would purchase again.
