Lume Cube Waterproof Bluetooth LED Light for Photo, Video and Content Creation - Black (Pack Of 2)

I bought these to attach (attachments bought separately) to my Phantom 4 drone for night time, to see where drone is and night time photography. Work very well for the intended uses! I rather like the strobe effect, my distant neighbour thought it was aliens, so shows to me how bright these lights are. Blue tooth enabled but only a short distance coverage so I cannot use the flash facility at long distances but constant is fine for my use.

I bought these and they work well. However I changed my phone and when I went to connect the cubes to my phone the app now ask for a serial number from the box I threw away almost a year ago, so I now have two cubes I can't use.The serial number should be able to be pulled via bluetooth and why they need my email address a year on is just stupid.This is a great product but look elsewhere for another product as my photo shoot was ruined today as I couldn't connect the app.

BOUGHT FOR SCUBA DIVING AS SUPPOSED TO BE WATERPROOF TO 100' BUT BEYONE 30' THE BUTTONS SUCCUMB TO THE PRESSURE AND DON'T WORK SO RENDERING THE UNIT USELESS UNTIL YOU ASCEND! OTHER THAN THAT THEY ARE OK AS A PORTABLE VIDEO/PHOTO LIGHT.

Ok Where to begin, Great little product, well made and a great idea. The light is very bright on full power, although it does get hot, to be expected. The colour seems to change a little the brighter you go. Greenish on min power Blueish on high. I wouldn't bother with the filter adaptor, a few well cut pieces of Gell and an elastic band and your sorted as well as a little bit of trace, or soft spun to soften the light down a little as it is quite hard.As others state, ridiculous waste of packaging, It seems they way of the world. Used on a job last week and the results looked good. Really handy for putting a little light in a confined space. Now for the down side. Trying to operate using the buttons on the unit is confusing. One press for this press and hold for that. So you would think using the app would be the answer. Ummmm Firstly when switched on the app wouldn't see both lights but only one. A bit of button pushing on the unit and both appeared, although the app keeps wanting me to activate my camera on my phone. Finally got rid of that dialogue box but then have to contend with buggy user interface on the app. You can't assign a unique name to each light i.e. A & B so have to guess which light is operated by which control. Switch on both lights as continuous and they work fine, then try and get them to work as a slave to an additional flash and sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. switch everything off and then back on and they work and then they don't. Turn off optical trigger and then back on and it sometimes works sometimes doesn't. Try and switch them both off together and they won't, oh and then they will. I wouldn't mind if they had some sort of continuity to the bugginess so that you could get used to what procedure to follow, but it seems to be completely random. Will probably keep them as they are handy to have in the lighting kit bag. But the makers seriously need a software update or to rethink the interface. Also arrived from Amazon UK with just a Spanish instruction manuel. A bit disappointing.

These lights are definitely not suited for scuba diving or use underwater.On my first dive the one got flooded and died(dive max depth was around 14m). The lights also switch off around 10m due to the pressure under water…waste of money!

Bought a double pack. One works well. Other one keeps switching off after a few minutes. Sent an email to their support 2 weeks ago. No reply.

The media could not be loaded.  I have used these fantastic little lights with my go Pro and with my Vlog Canon camera setup. They are fantastic. Compact enough you can fit them in your pocket and the different levels of light you and control from your mobile device make them a must buy for your rig. If you will have to have them on full for any period of time be ready to take your pics or video because the battery will run out, in what can seem to be a short period. {About 20 - 30 min I believe. It is hard to tell when you are trying to set up for the shot} So get setup without using the lights then make your lighting adjustments so you have more time. Not a complaint.. just letting you know this is something you will have to prepare for because they are battery powered. The brightness is crazy.. so bright you do not want to look directly into the light, and adjust down to a great soft light if needed.

Perfect mobile lighting soloution

These light cubes are awesome. They're small, bright, and don't seem to heat up in or out of the water. With the mounting options, you can use them for so many things. With Gopro mounts, I put them on my mountain bike for night riding. I put one on my Gopro ready dive mask for night diving and night rock running. I'm still finding uses for them. The only negative thing I can say about them is they need to be charged regularly...a full charge won't last long...one penalty for their small size. Highly recommended.
