Razor Scooter Replacement Wheels Set with Bearings

My kid is hard on his scooter, replacement wheels fit perfect and ride great

My 8 yr old son loves his scooter again. The rear wheel on his original scooter was so worn out from using the brake that it was making a noise every time he used it. I decided it was time to replace his wheels.These wheels worked great and come with their own bearings (so you do not have to reuse the old bearings). I believe the bearings are rated ABEC 5 (though I cannot be 100% certain). ABEC 5 are what are found on most skateboards and scooters in the US. Some models from China are rated ABEC 3 which are to be avoided. These wheels roll about the same as the original razor wheels, which is why I'm inclined to believe they are ABEC 5. Overall, I am very satisfied with these new wheels.

my kids loved riding scooters until the wheels started wearing causing a rough and slow ride even on the smoothest surfaces. I replaced the wheels with these and we did notice a huge difference... for a week or two. The replacement wheels look real and work fine but they do not hold up at all. I've compared the original wheels to the replacement wheels and they look the same (markings and branding).The wheels cost half or more of what the scooter costs so i am not sure what to do next time... buy another scooter w/ wheels that last more than a week or continue to buy replacement wheels?

I bought these wheels to upgrade a three-wheeled Razor scooter that I found for my five-year-old granddaughter at a yard sale. I had read reviews of the scooter itself that said it was very frustrating because it was impossible for a child to get any speed on it. I had noticed that same problem with the scooter when my neighbor's son tried to ride it. One reviewer stated that he had fixed the problem by buying wheels with bearings. I decided to try that myself using these wheels. The installation was easy and I noticed immediately how much more smoothly the scooter rode. My granddaughter loves the scooter and is able to go pretty fast thanks to these wheels. Just as a note: my granddaughter only weighs 35 pounds, so she is not putting any undue pressure on the wheels or the scooter. Thanks to these wheels, I was able to get her a Razor scooter that she actually enjoys and can balance on for a very reasonable price.

The packaging was new and came as expected in a day or two. In the package: 2 Blue hard plastic wheels just like in the picture. The allen wrenches are NOT included. You need two 0.55mm allen wrenches to remove and replace the wheels.Our scooter is continuously used for about 10 hours a week including weekends. I don't know how long these wheels are supposed to last but after 8 weeks they needed to be replaced but I waited 10 weeks due to the fact that this is our 3rd scooter and I am still surprised when they get worn out. These same 98mm Blue wheels were $12.66 back in Jan-Feb 2015 and are down to $9.99 (Apr. 2015) but even better, the Orange wheels are down to $6.18. Today I ordered 5 sets.Of note, these wheels do NOT light up or do anything special. My scooter is a Razor like the previous two but this one is brought indoors every night instead of just being stored in our covered patio and it has out lived our other 2 scooters by several months and it is still going strong.I am including pictures of the back wheel which is completely worn out and the front wheel which still has life left.When I get my new wheels I will be sure to rotate them every month.

The "pedal wheel" on my Nordic Track cx 990 elliptical machine broke after 7 years. The company wanted $103 for a replacement wheel. It struck me that this wheel looked very similar to the wheels on the kids' Razor scooters. So I took one of the wheels off my son's scooter and tried it - it worked! The Razor wheel is slightly smaller (98mm vs 100mm), but it works great.So I ordered two sets of these, and fixed the elliptical, plus fixed my son's scooter, since one of his wheel bearings was broken due to jumps etc. Instead of fixing the elliptical for $100 and replacing the scooter for $35, they are both good as new for less than $20!

...what else would a parent want ?!This is a long term review as these were bought May 2017 and used dozens upon dozens upon dozens of times the past 3 summers.Like anyone else looking for this type of item, their kids scooter needs new wheels, be it a bearing failure, flat spots on the wheels due to skidding excessively or just basic wheel failure. The issue with our original wheels is that the bearings were seizing up and the scooter did not roll properly.Since we've been purchasing more and more via Amazon especially since we have their Prime service I wanted to find and purchase replacement wheels here. A quick search lead to this listing titled " Razor Scooter Replacement Wheels Set with Bearings " who could go wrong with that. The color was approved by my boy and I approved the price. ( we got 2 sets )They arrived quickly and after inspecting the packaging with everything being fine and proper I was quick to get to work. I used the standard hex to undo the originals and installed the new wheels. Done. Each wheel literally took only seconds to swap out.With three summers, soon to be a 4th on these wheels both me and my boy are extremely impressed. These are BETTER than the originals ! Yes I will gladly say that as these have not worn down excessively as the original Razor wheels wore down. The bearing on these replacement wheels are also better quality IMO as they have kept out water and grit unlike the originals. ( why we needed to get replacement wheels in the first place )TIP ► These are not just limited to Razor brand as these are standard size across many different scooters brands.TIP ► Some people say they cannot remove the hex bolts as they are seized, if that is the case then use a penetrating oil spray, let sit for a few minutes and proceed. Decided to get my old Dunlop scooter up and running for the kids to use. Replacing the old tires with these new ones was a breeze and they work like a charm. Definitely a solid replacement part and for a fair price to boot!
