KiddeFirex KF3 ( Mains/Battery Heat alarm )

I bought this as part of a routine in replacing all the fire alarms in my property due to them being 10 years old. It was a simple switch over (like for like). The original ones have been regularly check and they have been faultless. No fires - but no false alarms, just the beeps to tell you when the batteries need replacing. I have no reason to believe that the new ones won't be any different. Note - they do discolour over time - but it would appear all fire alarms do!

As others have said direct and easy replacement for earlier model.

This product is a perfect item for your kitchen especially were there is any heat source,I have just replaced mine and it is hard wired to the mains system so its on all the time,with a battery back-up just in case,the item is easy to fit also,buy it you will not be dissapointed,give yourself piece of mind,you cannot put a price on safety

As expected

I purchased this as a direct replacement for one that was 9 years old and had discoloured. All the fittings were the same and it took just 5 minutes to swap it over and get back to normal. Good brand, price and fast delivery.

Nice fresh new firex for my kitchen, old one was yellowed with age/sun. This new one was fine and looks to be a whiter case or different plastic which is great.

Easy fit, just had to exchange connectors with new ones supplied. Diameter was smaller than existing so a bit of paint touch up needed on ceiling. Replaced 5 units. All ok. Small light on unit catches your eye but tend not to notice it now. A good buy.

Guter Hitzemelder. Habe ihn in der Küche verbaut. Die Anschlussleitung (230V) hat einen Englischen Farbcode aber die Adern sind kenntlich gemacht. Bisher keine Probleme gehabt. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
