This cable is very impressive. First of all - it works! And yes it works with Apple Products!To start off with it comes in a NEATLY PACKAGED BOX, with all the features this small cable can provide printed around the sides. Its simple to set up but they have also included how to do this in a handy diagram on the back along with a written description for complete piece of mind! Nice to see a company thinking of every customer - because not everyone is tech savvy!The cable itself which I purchased has a LENGTH OF 2M from the HDMI port to the lightning/phone connector and approx 1.5m from the HDMI port to the USB connector. Its a great length and also feels well made - STRONG AND STURDY.To use the cable you DO NEED A POWER SOURCE FOR THE USB. Good news is you can either USE THE PLUG THAT IS SUPPLIED WITH YOUR IPHONE/IPAD or IF YOUR TV HAS A USB PORT THEN THAT WORKS TOO!Once you are all SET UP, your tv/monitor/etc simply comes up with whatever is on your phone. If you do have any problems you can scan the QR code on the box and it will tell you what to do. (Has pictures of what will show on your screen if the cable is not working and you select which ever update is required) I did not have to do this however! :-)I first tried a few videos on YouTube and it worked fine. HD videos are displayed in HD. Lower quality videos can be watched but best searching for HD videos because if (a lower quality video) is being displayed on your phone in 360p and your tv is 1080p as well as 40inches in size then thats a big increase for the original upload and it will look a bit pixelated.Like stated in the amazon description YOU CANT WATCH PAID PRESCRIPTION SERVICES AS THEY ARE ENCRYPTED but im sure you can find your desired programme elsewhere...I tested out this cable on a number of websites that played video and they all worked fine!!!OVERALL:I AM MADE UP WITH IT. Simple plug in and play onto any device with a HDMI port and you are ready to go. Then sit back and SHOW YOUR PICTURES/VIDEOS OR EVEN SHARE YOUR LATEST INTERNET/YOUTUBE FIND!!! Its literally that easy!Only minor criticisms I would like to mention (and these are minor) is maybe the option for a longer cord? Like previously mentioned it does have a 2M (6.5ft) length which is fantastic, there are those few people who have a couch very, very far away from their tv. Also there is about a 0.000001 second lag when playing video which you cant really notice. But just thought id mention it.FINAL THOUGHTS:THIS IS A GREAT FIND. Its easy to use, does what it says and I WOULD MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT! I purchased this product around the 13th November 2018 and it arrived the next day (Prime) it came in a nice clean box with no damage. (Picture attached)There were instructions inside the box explaining how to use the device which also explains what this device can’t do, which is stream streamable content e.g amazon prime video etc.It can display all social media, games and also pre saved content like YouTube (watching me play mobile games on a 50” TV was entertaining)To use, you plug the HDMI end in to your tv or monitor, the lightning cable in to your iPad or iPhone (I tested this in an iPad Air and iPhone 7 and both worked fine) and the usb end goes to a power supply, so can either be a usb plug, or straight in to a usb slot in your tv or monitor.This will then display the phones screen whilst also charging your device (it will display an image on the screen, then after 10 second your phones screen will load)ProsSlightly cheaper than other modelsNo need for a separate lightning cable like other models.ConsThe hdmi adapter box is slightly larger than normal, so won’t fit in to a middle slot of 3 already plugged in cables, so had to move some cables around, but then once in it worked fine)I do have an apple branded version of this, and it works the same.All in all, I’d buy again.

 I can now project my iPhone screen on the big screen!It is good quality despite some spelling mistakes in the packaging and it works with everything I tried. Easy to install and use, bought this lightning to HDMI cable for my iPhone to Tv.Try at first on line films seens a bit slow than normal mirror to TV, after try download the film and then connect to TV, it went well, so maybe my broadband are slow.The device does turn warm while use, but it does not crash my screen, found it more easy and quick than mirrors to TV.

I initially gave this product a single star as when it arrived it wouldn’t work on my iPhone 6 or iPad Pro, I put this into amazon questions and it was picked up very quickly by the seller who got in touch, apparently some of the cables only work on older iOS systems and as mine was up to date wasn’t suitable, seller immediately sent new cable which arrived promptly and works great and seems a great product, perhaps older versions of cables should be withdrawn ?

This review is for a replacement. The original version of this lead stopped working after Mr Apple issued an IOS update that broke it :-(. To get the lead working you needed to download an firmware update app (the QR code will appear on the tv screen), but the app only worked if you had an earlier version of IOS- catch 22. I contacted a few friends to see if I can use their phone to update, but they all had the latest IOS loaded. I didn't fancy trying to downgrade my phone IOS.I contacted the seller 'ifang' and tried to get it working but they sent me a replacement working lead. Worked straight away.- Excellent customer service! :-)Let's hope that Mr Apple doesn't issue another IOS update that breaks the device.
