OXOGood Grips Meat Tenderiser, Multicolor

It's an almighty hammer that I swing around like a man child. It's awesome, heavy and can tenderize meat, what more could you want?Decided on this one as many others item reviews complained of oxidisation and this is solid aluminium with no signs of degrading.

I've only used this for chicken, so can only comment on that.. But it absolutely fits the bill.Does an excellent job at pummelling chicken breast down as thin as you need it. It can take a little longer to get through the thicker section, but after a few bashes, it starts to give way.The tenderiser is a lot heavier than I expected it to be, but it doesn't cause issues. The handle is incredibly comfortable to use for varying hand sizes as well (both my partner and I have used it and our hand size differs greatly!).

I am no big fan of pork chops. They are usually very chewy for me. But lately I changed my mind. They can be softened with the OXO Meat Tenderizer, and it made me think again - about my pork chops :). OK, we did marinate with crushed onion, where the enzymes help to break down the chewiness. But still, the game changer is the Tenderizer. Now, I shall probably be enjoying more pork chops than in the first half of my life :)Wondering how to effectively clean the 'teeth' part of the Tenderiszer? Easy. 'Teeth' need a toothbrush! And a toothbrush works very well with the cleaning.Now I am unable to comment on the 'flattening' part of the Tenderizer yet. We don't eat a whole lot of meat so nothing to flatten so far. But I did crush garlics with that side. Works very well :)

Very well made product with an excellent grip. Each face on the head has a different use and this is much appreciated. Weight is perfect - it's not so light that you have to apply an Olympian hammer thrower swing to it when bringing it down on the meat, nor is it so heavy that you would have to be an Olympian weight lifter from Russia to use it.Food certainly benefits from using this. I would suggest that you disregard the cheaper versions and go for this.In addition - it looks the part.

Bought this to replace old wooden one as end kept coming off every time I used it. also felt wood was not very hygenic. Very pleased with this - a great improvement - sturdy and easy to grip. Flat one side, which is useful. Good price for a good quality product. No problems washing it up - it says avoid dishwasher, but I don't have one! Quick delivery - my problems solved.

Like the weight and the comfortable grip. Also the two sided option.

Vou dizer o que né... É Oxo. Caro, mas é o melhor martelo que já tive. Além de ser bem bonito. Se tiver condições, compre sem medo.

Es una buena masa para ablandar la carne, bien fabricada y fuerte.
