Robo callers? Do they still exist?
This system offers a lot of high tech for a low price. The anti Robo caller screeners is worth the price. Blessed silence. The cell phone connection is worth the price by itself, and you could still use this system without having a land line. That way you don't have to carry your cell phone(s) throughout the house. The list of features goes on and on. e.g. phonebooks, intercom, caller announcement push-to-talk, caller ID recall, message machine. Add in the long range and they are offering a really fine system. If we ditch the land line we will continue to use this system.

Great volume and sound
The phone works great. But Amazon says that you can expand it the phone to 12 headsets. I called customer support and that is not true. I need 6 hand sets and this will not work for me. Customer support told me to purchase the VTech IS8151-5 . I'll have to return these phones and puchase the VTech IS8151-5 Otherwise the phone is good. No problem with the volume and speaker and phone calls.

Great Phone For Aging Parents
I got this phone for my parents who still have a landline. The display is larger and easier to read than their last system. Adding numbers to the phone book isn’t too difficult (though I did have to show my mom as it wasn’t as simple as push-this-one-button).Best feature is the spam filter and permanent call blocker. A security system requires caller to say their name and push the pound button before the call will ring through. When the call is answered the recorded name is replayed and you have the choice to accept the call, accept the call and add the caller to a “safe caller” list so they can just dial and ring past the system in the future, send the call to voicemail, or permanently block the number.It has empowered my parents to feel more confident with the people they can choose to engage with on the phone.The one potential draw back to this security feature is that some official callers might not get the option to leave a name and press pound (depending on how their dialing system is up). For instance, my mother’s doctor uses a physician referral system that couldn’t get through until we added the number first.8/10 for display size, 8/10 for ring volume, 9/10 for call-block and security system…and so vastly superior to their last cordless phones that I will never go back.(I bought the system with 5 cordless phones and left two of them in the box. If/when any of three currently in operation get permanently lost or have battery issues, I can “take a spare” from the box without interrupting their phone service or making them potentially learn yet another new system :D )

Misrepresented - it is a multi-line phone, 1 landline + cell phone. I expected 2 lines+++
Very disappointed. I ordered a multi-line phone, which to me, means 2 or more lines. I have two land lines here. This has 1 line for phone and also connects to my cell. All well and good, but I get terrible cell reception here and I do a good number of conference calls. I do not appreciate the (in my mind) mis-representation off the website description. It does say multi-line, but not 2-line. This is not functional for me day-to-day. Got to return and start shopping again.

Good system, but product description is misleading
I just got my system set up. Works well so far.But there is one item in the product description that is misleading: Headset JackIf you need to insert a real headset jack (with ear pads and a microphone), there are no headset jacks anywhere on the base unit or any of the 5 handsets.Headset jack somehow refers to a cell phone, but I have no idea what it means.Also, this set appears to have been sold to someone else before I received it. Wear and tear on the tab that opens the box is evidence of that.Plus, the user manual was not in the box. Many features of this phone are not user friendly. That manual would be very helpful.

It is what it is, could be a lot better
I needed a new phone set. I wanted bluetooth to answer more than one phone line. This fits the bill, but that don't make it great. You need to dial the number before you activate the dial tone, or it infuriatingly makes incredibly loud beeps where the timing is so slow, it throws you off dialing the number. The ring sounds are horrible. If you misplace a handset, and you use the locate button, they all go off horribly loud, all at once, throwing off where the actual lost headset is. Like the couldn't do that one at a time, or only ring the ones not in a charger? And they all permantly say, 'New Voicemail', when there isn't any, and for that matter, it has never actually recorded any messages yet. I think that part is broken. The main set also keeps a running count of missed calls for some reason. And the bluetooth quality isn't all it's supposed to be, either. It would be a huge help to have it remember dialed calls, but no, you have to manually dial in each one, or add it to a contact list. Crazy stuff...Add it all up and this is a mess. Look elsewhere. Poor quality. I think the CEO should be forced to use this product, so he'll get a clue.

Excellent range on this phone system
I needed a reliable system that would allow running a wireless system that could reach out eighty feet or so to the shed/cabin from the base in the house. Having used a VTech phone with one remote extension for a few years that worked well in two prior apartments, I decided to give their extended range system a try. It works better than I could have expected. It was also easy to set up, at a fair price, with enough extensions to have easy access anywhere in the house and shed. Great system overall.
