Wow best gadget i have brought in a long while
Have tried out several of the functions on this now, and was happy to throw away my slow cooker and steamer after a couple of days useRice - nice and fluffy easy to use measure out cups and then fill water to line relating to cups used so simple. The slow cooker is great if you are late back it will switch off to warm unlike my old on or off slow cooker. Stew function - I was really surprised how much quicker this was that doing it in the oven/slow cooker. Soup - no issues did a good job The best thing about it is its size it can do one cup of rice or 8 just as easily, family or single its suits all. The outside of the machine does not get hot when in use and the handle means you can easily take your food with you. I took my chilli round to my friends for our get together no need for oven gloves or using two hands with this. Its a great shape and overall size in not bulky so it can stay out on the side rather than being stuck away in a cupboard. My friend has already ordered one after seeing mine in use, and I am buying one for my elderly mother so she does not have to fuzz with her stacking steamer again

Great!
I bought this a week ago and so far I have made bread, soup, curry, stews and a beef chilli in it. It is a great gadget and really easy to use and clean. I got this to replace a traditional slow cooker which was horrible to use because the outside would get too hot due to it's design. The outside of the MultiCooker does not get hot. It only ever gets warm, even after 8 hours of cooking. Unlike your traditional slow cookers, the MultiCooker has a non stick aluminium bowl and is the only part of the cooker that needs cleaning when you are finished. You literally only need to dunk it in a bowl of soapy water to clean it. There is no need to chip or scrape food from the bowl and no need to soak it. Because it is a metal pan and the way it applies heat to the pan, the cooking is very even so you can literally throw your ingredients into the pan, close the lid, touch a single button and walk away. In an hours time you will have a perfect stew. You can open the lid and look or taste whenever you like without altering the program and so far, there has been no need to stir anything as it cooks. If, like me, you like to batch cook food or have limited time and energy for standing over the hob in the evenings, then this is the gadget for you.

A must to have in ypur kitchen
Very convenient product to cook rice and viand.so easy to use and clean and does it job properly.I highly recommend the product...what i dont like is I cannot keep it warm mode for hours because it's too powerful and you cannot adjust the heat of it so sometimes if you leave your rice in warm mode it might burn.because when I was in japan i used to leave my ricecooker on warm mode the wholeday and it's fine.but with this product, maybe the heat is too powerful.it's just the heat but the rest i have no issue with the product.

Much more than a slow-cooker.
So far I've made stews, soups, chili and more in the multi-cooker.The slow cooker function is excellent if, like me, you work long days and don't fancy cooking of an evening. Put it on in the morning and arrive home to hot, tasty food. The ability to use the steam function to brown meat or soften onions etc. is a nice addition, as it saves doing so in another pan, then transferring to the multi-cooker. It also makes reheating a doddle, as you can just chuck in your leftovers from the fridge (still in the removable cooking vessel) and heat them up to a nice temperature without fretting that they'll be a burnt mess when you go to take them out.The rice function produces wonderful, fluffy rice with no hassle.All-in-all it's something I never knew I needed until I bought it, but wouldn't want to do without now I have it.

Good solid cooker
On the positive side cooker was delivered much quicker than was stated. It is well made and feels solid and the fact that it has a handle attached makes it easy to move around. It has a nice round deep bowl and is easy to clean. It has a good digital display which is easy to read. However, I wanted a multi cooker that is to say that I wanted to be able to cook lots of different things in it from slow cooked casserole to a pasta dish. It is unnecessarily complicated. The problem that I have found is that it has different programs which are set to a default time and temperature which cannot be increased or decreased. The only programme where the time can be changed is soup and it can only be increased not decreased. When I was cooking a pasta sauce I had to put it on steam to cook the onions etc and then change that to stewing which has a default time of 1 hour, I had to simmer the sauce for 15 minutes so I had to turn off the programme and change it to keep warm that was the only way to simmer, then change programme again to finish cooking and just turned it off when I was finished. Conversely when I wanted to cook something for 1 1/2 hours I had to set a timer and then put it on again for another 1/2 hour and set the timer again. Although it has a timer which counts down it does not beep when finished so I had to set the time on my regular cooker, so the cooker was not really what I wanted. I have had a multi cooker before which did what I wanted, being able to adjust the temperature and time, but after less than 2 years the coating broke down completely and I had to throw it away, from previous reviews of this cooker that did not seem to be an issue. Having said all of this I have managed to make it work for me as best as I can, and it does cook quite well although maybe the temperature is a little more than I would choose. If none of this bothers you then I would wholeheartedly recommend it.
