Good product, lightweight but strong and well built.
Does what it is supposed to do, strips single wires well. It feels light but is well engineered and is quite strong with a nice smooth action. It cuts and strips 1mm and 2.5mm sq wires with ease. The spec is for up to 4mm sq. wires and will strip these, however it is seems to work better if you give the cutting edges a second or two to sink into the plastic before applying the force (maybe take a few bites for the newer harder (smoke-free) plactic coating required in modern regulations). Cuts are clean/neat. The wire 'snipper' is also a nice feature. Like anything, it could be broken with mis-use, but with proper use, I expect this to last a long time.

Excellent.
Using this on various stranded wire. Works perfectly, right down to 28AWG. It is light and made from mostly plastic but clearly a well made, quality tool.

Why didn't I buy one of these years ago???
After years of stripping cables by hand with a knife, using this is a massive time saver and prevents accidental nicks of the insulation. Seems to be well made and not had any issues after months of use.

Good products, issues stripping smaller cables
Product works very well other than cables around 0.20/0.18 wires which are commonly used for intruder alarms and access control. Initially it was damaging the strands of the wire. I used a knife&reaming tool to blunt the edge of the stripper of the blade and now the strands do not get damaged.

Pro-Use
Many years ago I was doing an electrical course for senior marine engineers. On the course someone had a set of automatic wire strippers and frankly at the time it was a tool that inspired awe and wonder among us. It was also about 50 quid from RS Components at the time and thus almost worth it's weight in gold...Fast forward and today there are various types of auto-strippers that cost not much at all and I have a few. Then my son put me onto this pair of wire strippers and I have to say, these are the best I've used for domestic type wiring. My son has his own electrical installation business so speed and value count. To be honest at 17 quid there isn't much to hold or look at. Just a small plastic wire stripper with vee steel jaws. But, in use these are the easiest, fastest and most accurate wire strippers yet. Most of all that vee shaped jaw stops the chance of cutting the actual wire off itself. The flat jawed type now and again do this and it can be frustrating to say the least. These are German designed and whilst they may seem simple they really do work well.

Time saver
If doing things like light fittings and you want a standard length stripped for using Wagos or the like then this is a real time saver. Just set to the right size, put the wire in and squeeze.Doesn't feel it will last forever but I have so far replaced around 40 downlighters and this has saved a considerable amount of time vs the other strippers I have. Only tiny annoyance is that the stripped insulation just drops off and if you are doing wires in the ceiling it will end up dropping away.

Great tool better than most.
I use wire strippers regularly and most of them leave a ‘shark gill’ on the wire end. (Like small rib strips on the outer sheath). But not these wire strippers! They have a soft grip to the wire so no marks left on the end. I use them on trirated wires and not tested on the PVC. They would not strip the outer sheath of twin and earth, only single cables. Overall they are great.

Works fine
I was having trouble with my side stripper marking and spoiling the six mm wire.so I bought this well worth the money no dammage to the wire. Used it on 2.5 1.5 4mm and 6mm done over a hundred ends works fine. I did not use it for cutting the cable, just to strip the wire
