DuofoldMen's Heavy Weight Double-Layer Thermal Pant

I wore these my first time skiing and it was kind of misleading. The weather was warmer than usual, and I ended up skiing wearing just a base layer, snow pants and a light jacket, but when the weather cooled down these definitely did their job. I want to note that I wasn't sweating-warm in them, but they are definitely a sufficient base layer and work well if paired with other warm clothing and layered properly. I am not a survivalist, nor am I extremely knowledgeable in proper dressing for cold weather conditions, so my review is only my experience during the short time I wore this product.Beyond that, they are a good product and fit well. They didn't shrink after washing, and kept their color. I am a 5'10.5" male, 170lbs, pant size 34/32 in Mens and wear a medium in everything else (including PJ's). I hope this helps!

These pants are super warm.I use them for winter walking. So far it's gotten down to about 10 degrees and with sweat pants over these I've been plenty warm.Quality seems great after 3 weeks of ownership. Anti stink works great too.Definitely recommend so far

There have always been two problems with long underwear bottoms. (1) they're too short, and (2) weak waistband. Duofold finally addressed these two issues. These long john bottoms are long enough, coming down to my ankles. Also, the waist band is tight, and more importantly, it also has a drawstring! Good job!

Excellent quality. Warm and soft. Remember that a base layer should fit tight to prevent cold air transfer. I'm 5'9, 175 lbs and usually wear 33" x 32" pants. I went with the medium bottoms and the fit is perfect (perhaps a tad bit long, but the ankles are tight so it doesn't matter). I chose a large top since other reviews indicate that the tops are a bit small. The fit on the top is good. Long enough to tuck in without popping out if I bend over or lift my arms. However, as others say the arms are short. Not so short that they are not wearable, but they could be a couple of inches longer. This seems like a design flaw, and I'm deducting a star for it. Otherwise these seem to live up to the hype.

I love these thermals. I work in a freezing environment all year round and these keep me nice and cozy. I will say though that they do run smaller than expected. I also have a set of Duofold mid weights and while medium fits me perfect in those, the medium in the expedition weight is tight, I should have gotten a large. So to everyone looking at these, order a size up from what you normally wear.

These keep you warm without impeding freedom of movement or pinching where it matters. Buy them a size smaller than you normally would. When I wake up and check the weather, I wear these if it's less than 20 degrees and don't notice how cold my car seat is if I don't have time to warm up the car. I wear heavy duty work pants and these plus that heavy cotton are adequate for sustained moderate outdoor work down to about 10 degrees F if there's low or no wind.

I've been purchasing long underwear for myself for the last 10-12 years across a number of different brands to try to find the best one. Every single pair I've purchased has been in the medium size and they've fit well. None have been even close to being too small. However, that's where this pair of long underwear falls short. They are extremely, extremely small.I can't sit down in this size medium long underwear without my butt completely falling out. If I were going to purchase these again so that they fit well, I'd have to purchase the size extra large, which is absurd. I normally wear pants with a size 32" waist and 30" length. That's absolutely nowhere near "extra large". Anyone much larger than me would simply be unable to purchase a pair of these long underwear. They would need a size near XXXXL.Other than the incredibly small size, these long underwear are well made. The stitching seems good and the fabric feels very good. They provide a large amount of warmth in cold weather.Bottom line: If you decide to purchase this long underwear, order up by two sizes. These do not stretch so you won't be able to wiggle into a small size.

Bought these as an upgrade to my 15 year old Cabelas thermals. The pants fit me perfectly. I am 6 ft and 163lbs and bought the medium size. I don't mind that the pants don't have a fly opening. I do like that they come with a drawstring as my Cabelas always slipped downward with movement. I tried them out today in 23F weather. I felt perfectly comfortable in them. The fabric is very soft and works well wicking any moisture away from my skin. I'm considering buying another set also.

True blue heavy thermals. Also comes with garterized waist band. Bought some lqst year this year. Best value for heavy thermals. Only downside is it only comes in black color.

These have kept me warm at -6c (21f?) under fleece lined pants, so they serve their purpose; not enough under jeans or single layer pants at those temperatures, I got them as didn't want to pay $100 for merino thermals and thinner thermals weren't cutting it. They sit a little low and feel tighter than I'm used to, but are comfortable.

Sizing is way off . My 30 year old son couldn’t even get the medium on. He thought maybe his petite wife (5 feet and 95 lbs) could use it but It was too small for her too. The package came totally damaged so I’m assuming it had been returned already. We also ordered the long sleeve shirt and it is also way too small . Waiting for a refund.
