A God-Send!
This is an extremely accessible and easy to read guide to Sensory Processing Disorder. It offers a very solid overview that I read in less than an evening. Several texts on the subjects have been a slog to get through but this was a very welcome gate-way to achieve some basic knowledge. I really liked the inclusion of activities/ work divided by sensory challenges: it gave me some good ideas.I recommended it to the schools’ staff and the SENCo went on to buy her own copy. An excellent first port of call to a subject that can be occasionally difficult to unpick - or indeed find solid information about in the UK, owing to it’s lack of diagnosis.

Great for parents of children with sensory issues
As a mother with a child who has sensory issues I would certainly recommend this book. This information really made sense and gave good clear guidelines for helping your child.

Informative
Brilliant book - I bought it as soon as it came out. Sensory processing is much less known in the U.K. than the U.S. so some informed and accessible literature on the subject is invaluable.
