I recently installed the Gutter Downspout Extensions from NAACOO, and I'm impressed with the results. These extensions have done a fantastic job of directing water away from my house's foundation, which was a growing concern for me. The installation was straightforward, and I appreciated not having to dig deep to set them up. The flexibility of the pipe extension made it easy to position them exactly where needed, extending up to 8.2 feet. This length is more than sufficient to ensure the water is channeled far from the house, providing peace of mind during heavy rainfalls. The catch basin design is particularly effective, catching and redirecting water efficiently. One thing to note, though, is that they can be a bit tricky to secure in place initially. Once set up, though, they stay put and perform exceptionally well. As someone who enjoys DIY projects, I found these downspout extensions to be a practical and efficient solution for managing rainwater and protecting my home's foundation. They are durable and have become an essential part of my home's rainwater management system.

I will start with the only issue that I have with these; they are too lightweight. So you should also buy something to anchor them down with. That sounds like it would be easy to figure out but that U-shaped metal that you are thinking about is trickier to find, than you think. So what you are going to look up are "wind stakes" that have a 2" width between each part of the U. I ended up green rebar trampoline wind stakes. In some regions that may seem like overkill but in a place like coastal Connecticut, where we are hit by tropical storm and hurricane winds, it is probably worth getting heavy duty anchors for such a light weight, above ground drainage unit. I use 2 stakes per unit. As far as how they work.. they work fantastic! I hadn't been watching the news so I didn't realize that the day after I set these up that we were going to be hit by a storm with high winds and dropped 5" of rain over just 18 hours. There would always be some flooding in my cellar from a storm like this but this is the first time that there has been no water coming in. None! All that I can think is that it is far more efficient than traditional metal gutter extensions and that maybe there was a significant amount of water leaking through by the elbow connectors. I am actually moving but these above ground units were a cheap way for me to test basin drainage, which I will definitely be putting in at my new house. But if that isn't doable in my initial budget, then I know that I can come back for more of these at this low cost, until in ground basin drainage is in my budget.

This is a great product. It looks nice and installs easily...with some work. There are reviews complaining about how difficult it is to attach the hose to the base. I think people don't understand that you just screw it on. The hose is threaded to be able to screw it on then secure it with the metal ring. I'm glad I bought it and would buy it again. I can't speak to the functionality of it yet because we haven't had rain but I'm confident it will do just fine.

Worked as I wanted. Flexible conduit to contain wires that run from the wall into a battery box. 7’ more then I needed.

I really would like to give this 5 stars but....first of all, there were absolutely NO instructions for assembly. With that said, it was not that difficult to figure out. Secondly, I think positioning is key....as you can see from the video, a very hard rain resulted in overflow. I'll be repositioning the units (I have 4 of them) to see if there is improvement. I like that it has a mesh insert to help keep debris out of the catch basin. I need to determine what I'm going to do with the drain pipe because I don't want it viewable, but I don't want the end to get clogged with dirt/mulch. I can't rate durability yet since I just received and installed the units.

After reading reviews about similar item, I decide to get this one. So far good material and work as described. I bought extra pipe connectors and they work Perfect. So far I satisfied with this purchase

An excellent product at an excellent price. Quick and easy to install. The screen over the catch basin is an excellent addition to the functionality. I'll be purchasing another very soon.
