LUVVITT iPhone 6/6s TEMPERED GLASS Screen Protector for iPhone 6/6s Fits Both Apple iPhone 6 (2014) and New iPhone 6S (2015) - Crystal Clear

While I realize that the iPhone 6 has rounded edges and therefore would not technically allow for the glass screen protector to run to the edge fully - there is still enough space on each side & the top and bottom for there to be 2mm or so additional protection. It just does not look cohesive the way it is currently designed. It runs across the small eye hole at the top as well which gives the appearance that this protector was not designed with this particular phone in mind - I'm thinking they jumped the gun on production before the true specs of the phone were available. I'd bet that newer model screen protectors will not have this issue, but it serves its purpose for now I suppose until better options are available. Otherwise, it does look good and much better than film - no bubbles. It will crack though if dropped or knocked against something in your pocket or purse; I have had several of these for my 5s. It will last several months before replacement is typically needed.* Recent update - I have since purchased 5 other types of tempered glass screens on Amazon for the iphone 6 and I have to say now in comparison, this one is the best one so far. One model cracked in the corner before I had even removed the plastic protective wrapping! What I have noticed though is that the image on this model does not represent the screen that I received from my order only a couple of weeks ago. This Luvvitt screen protector had an oblong circle cut out around the ear speaker at the top of the phone which was very difficult to line up perfectly on application, but I see now the image shows with a squared cut out at the top, which may alleviate both the issue with possibly covering the pinhole at the top of the phone as well as difficulty aligning it properly on installation. I am going to try ordering this "improved" model and will update my review after receiving in hopes that it fits a little better. With a different & more beefy case on my phone at this point, the slight sizing deficiency around the perimeter of the phone isn't quite as bothersome or noticeable. I have increased my star rating to 4 now that I have ample comparison of other models.

I had never installed or used a tempered glass screen protector before. In the past I always used the thin plastic screen protectors, and This tempered glass screen protector is much thicker than those. But the best thing to me was that, despite the thickness, it is virtually indistinguishable from the iPhone 6's screen in responsiveness and feel. Unless you look closely and notice the small gap between the protector and the edge of the phone, you would never know that the phone has a screen protector on it. I have not subjected it to any major abuse, so I don't know how well it will hold up and protect the phone's screen from damage; but its thickness certainly makes it seem like it will provide good protection.During installation it actually seemed less susceptible to problems with dirt underneath it than the plastic screen protectors I've used, although you still want to make sure to remove all of the dirt from the screen. And as with all screen protectors, it is a little difficult to position exactly where you want it, especially if you are picky. As other reviewers have noted, it does not quite extend to the edges of the screen, apparently because of the shape of the iPhone 6 screen. So if you don't quite get it positioned properly, you might see uneven gaps on one side or the other. But it was not too hard to position so that most people would never even notice any slight misalignment.The only thing preventing me from giving this 5 stars is that the instructions indicated that you should not try to remove and replace it. I did not try this, but if that it true it is a slight downside. I would have liked to have had a second chance to position it better, but I didn't want to risk destroying it. Also, in the past I have had an iPhone which needed to be replaced due to a manufacturing defect. In that case, you would probably have to just buy a new protector. But the good thing is that, for what they are, they are reasonably priced even if you did have to replace it once during the life of the phone.

I have the iPhone 6+ version, the tempered glass is excellent quality, and definitely feels nice! The added protection of a tempered glass screen protector is a must for me, and this product is a great quality feeling glass. It resists fingerprints surprisingly well also, I previously had a Bear Motion tempered glass on my Samsung Note 3, and it smudged like crazy, and was impossible to fully clear up without wetting the screen. This LUVVITT unit does not smudge at all!However, there is one small complaint, the protectors on the iPhone 6s, I understand are not meant to completely cover the front of the phone, and that is fine, but this unit is actually a couple of hairs smaller than the visible screen of the phone. Basically, if you are looking at the phone straight-on, you will not notice it. The first time you tilt the phone at even a slight angle, you will notice the screen protector is actually about 0.1mm or 0.2mm smaller than the VISIBLE screen area on the phone. Meaning you will need to get this thing perfectly centered with the screen or else you're going to have 0.2mm of unprotected visible screen (I am NOT talking about the edge, which is obviously not covered by any protectors other than the iLoome Edgeprotect).All-in-all this is an excellent product, but I would say the manufacturing process needs to improve, because my friend has the same protector and his is NOT smaller than the visible screen like mine is. Again, this is probably due to manufacturing tolerances.
