The required (and supplied) adapter to make it possible to use the fitting with bayonet fittings turns it into a rather tall accessory so you need a big lamp shade. Slightly fiddly to adjust but once you've set it you probably won't need to. There seems to be a requirement to turn off at the switch for several seconds before turning it on again, a simple flick off/on results in it staying off.

Not what I was after thought it was a timer not a turns off if you forget

This does exactly what I needed - it is in a walk in cupboard in a child's room. She nearly always forgets to turn the light out - this stays on for a few minutes then turns off. Very simple but very effective.
