Device Electronics for Integrated Circuits

An excellent reference for the advanced student, not recomended for introductory courses, but if you alreade had some previous exposure to Device Physics, Semiconductors & Semiconductor Devices, this textbook becomes very very attractive, and is written in an excellent manner for those planning a career in IC design, Device Design & Simulation. A must for all of them. Excellent layout, superb graphics and the material is organized the way it should be. Although in today curriculas MOSFET is treated before the BJT, i believe that BJT coverage should be done after PN Junctions, so the theory of PN Junction can be applied in full and modified to the explanation of BJT operation & Design.MOS system and MOSFET should be treated at the end. Although in todays microelectronics MOSFET is the dominant device, BJT is a fundamental device used in high performance high speed applications, relevant in BiCMOS design.

L'ho acquistato per un corso universitario, conviene rispetto all'originale, ma comunque non ci si deve aspettare una grande qualità

Great book, has basics like first edition with updates to near current state of the art for ICs. Easy to read if you are in the field. Would be hard to understand if you do not work with ICs.

Per il prezzo a cui è venduto va benissimo. Ovviamente non ha la qualità costruttiva dei libri che costano dieci volte tanto, ma il contenuto è lo stesso.
