how long is the cord?

65 inches, I keep the cord twist tied so I leave about 12 inches open.

Anybody know how to utilize 'alt codes' on stand-alone 10 key? It is not working in win 10 and I find nothing online for a remedy except copy/paste.

I had the same issue, and eventually switched to a full keyboard hooked up to the laptop instead. But what MIGHT work is using a program like SharpKeys to reassign the keys properly. Most people don't realize that the computer recognizes numerals from the numeric keypad as different from numerals entered from the top of the normal keyboard. I'm betting that this keypad did not assign themselves properly, but I also bet SharpKeys can fix it. You would use the "Type Key" button in the program and hit the key on the keypad as key to reassign, and then select the appropriate Num key from the huge list of key options on the right. It it works, you can write the changes to the registry so that you never have to do it again because the computer will do it each time you start up. Good luck -- If this works, let me know!

Does this work with windows 11? Probably dumb question, just asking because you list every other version except win11.

Yes, it does. I used it with a laptop I have for work with Windows 11, because the laptop is small and doesn't have a numeric keypad. Unfortunately, I found that Alt-key combinations do not work with this keypad, like they do with a normal numeric keypad. It also has a strange double-zero on it that I kept accidentally hitting when I just wanted a single zero, which could be a problem when entering data in spreadsheets. Eventually, I hooked up a full keyboard to the laptop via a USB hub instead.
