I was excited to get a silk pillowcase at a good price however I'm not sure this was authentic silk. It felt more like the satin pillowcase I already have and was not shiny inside and out. I compared it to a silk shirt (not sure that was a good comparison or not) but the shirt felt much silkier, shined on the inside and out and was slippery. Unfortunately I had to return it.

Short version: BUY IT!!! You won't regret it.Where do I start? I've never had acne before but after a wild breakout a month ago I PANICKED and tried to figure out all the ways I could avoid ever going through that again. You guys. THESE PILLOWCASES are amazing. I feel so clean going to sleep. My curls looks amazing, my skin not only has stopped breaking out I don't wake up with weird face lines from squishing my pillow all weird against my face all night. The zipper is genius. Truly stays in place. I have extra fluffy memory foam (shredded pieces) standard size pillows and these fit snuggly and perfectly. These pillowcases have convinced me to invest in silk sheets. 100% recommend. My pillow cases arrived neatly wrapped in special paper inside a box (one per box) There was a sticker on the back that showed the date it was manufactured, mine both were made 12/22/20. How cool is that? Much thought has gone into the production and delivery of these pieces and have been recommending it to all my friends, I even convinced my boss to buy some and she did.

Color is weird. Champagne is a strange beigie color. It isn’t wrinkle free.It’s ok quality but nothing impressive.

Wonderful pillowcase - gentle on skin and hair. However, I ordered a tan color so that I could distinguish between a white silk I already owned. The tan color is not my favorite by any means - looks as if it was washed in coffee. However, that was what I ordered and in the future would go with white again.
