I have been wanting a Papasan chair for FOREVER but also didn’t want a huge round chair taking up space in my bedroom. We stumbled across this one that had the comfort I wanted with minimal real estate take over! And the color! I can’t get a pic that gives the true depth of color but imagine a Ruby and Amethyst mixed together, that is what it looks like to me. We are remodeling our Master and with the built in book shelves I am putting on one wall, and our huge bed, I needed something that added a fun pop of color yet tied in with the theme. What we got was this!If it INCREDIBLY comfortable, sturdy, super easy to assemble (and can be cleaned by removing it!) and so divine to sit in after a long day and curl up with a book! Some genius took the Papasan and put it in an actual chair. Easy to get in and out of and the color is amazing. The Jewel colors are vibrant, pop out to add fun to a room without distracting from the main decor piece, and with one purchase I created my own cozy reading corner. With all our books I needed a place to sit and read that wasn’t in bed but allowed me to step away into a quiet space. And being able to either draw my feet up or use the foot stool makes me super excited to finally get an even better version of the chair I have always wanted. It isn’t huge and taking up space so it can fit into any corner, book, or area without worrying if it is too big. But it has the luxury of the original. Quite possibly my favorite thing I have ever purchased on here. I, the wife, can retreat here while hubs watches his ball games in the main room. Our son loves it and the cat definitely approves!

This chair is everything! Looks great, very easy to clean and I am 5'6 300lbs and it is enough chair that I am very comfortable in. Very sturdy and I fit without silly out and having to be carful. I waited to review this until I had the chairs for a month and I'm telling you the best. I don't even sit on the couch anymore. This is my jam. This is my first ever review in 5years of having this account. But I had to!! You can not go wrong!!

easy to assemble. Bought it to sit & relax in the room I have set up for my pet rabbit. I can keep him company while I read a book or watch tv. replaces camping chair I had been using. sorta the same construction, except not foldable, but light enough to move around. the purple is a lilac shade. the plushy material feels like a fluffy bath robe. Back is high enough to support my back & keep good posture & of course the ottoman I needed, as a senior helps elevate my feet.

My husband surprised me by connecting all the dots and getting my chair put together, without much problem! Details were fairly easy to interpret. It is extremely comfortable and looks pretty by my window. New reading nook.

Hello everyone!I am giving it 4 stars because I did notice some creaking during the first use (and we are not over the weight limit for this item). It is very soft and sturdy. I do like that the little ottoman that it comes with is movable and can fold up for extra space. It looks great, goes along with all the different items I have in my room. It functions as it is supposed to. I am a big gamer, and I wouldn't recommend it for long time use.

Put together in 3 minutes. Very comfortable. I could easily fall asleep in this chair. Seems sturdy and safe. Doesn't take up too much space. Foot stool is a nice addition and glad that it's a separate item and not attached. Everything is very light and easy to handle and arrange where you want it. Glad I brought it.

Well worth the cost. Very well built. Soft and comfortable. It would be perfect for a nursery with the comfortable padded arms. And with the added built in head pillow and comfy foot stool, a perfect chair to catch a few zzz’s in. I’m a grandpa sharing a home with family and this is a perfect fit for my bedroom to kick back and enjoy alone time. Definitely a good purchase.

This chair is so very comfortable, even for an older, heavier woman! It was pretty easy to assemble, although like a previous commenter said, I wish the instructions had pointed out that the front to back support bar fits in thin slits on the cross bars! When I sit down and put my feet on the ottoman, the head pillow is at the perfect height. I read some comments that mentioned that the front to back bar falls off easily, and if that does happen, I will just use some two-sided tape to keep it in place! It had a mild smell at first, but it had dissipated by morning. I am thrilled with my purchase and the color is perfect for me!
