Studio Designs 72013 Bonded Leather Lintel 60" Bench, Smoke

Nice piece of a furniture when you have a gathering or for a quick day nap. Assembly can be annoying as certain pieces would not insert well into other pieces as intended, unless you use a rubber mallet. Screw holes can me misaligned too!

Chrome legs wrapped and packed well for shipping. Easy to assemble. Looks great. Just one tiny nick in chrome leg, probably occurred during manufacturing. Only holds one person at a time though.

The bench itself is actually quite nice, it's the customer "service" that stinks! One end of the brackets had been welded at less than 90 degrees and so wouldn't slide into the receiving space. I emailed, tried phoning, smoke signals, meditation etc. and finally got so ppeed off that I just jammed it in and bent it straight with brute force. Luckily it didn't break and all in all I'm more than happy with the purchase but DANG, that sure irks you when you have to chat with a brick wall!

Despite the reviews, I decided to purchase this bench because it was the exact bench I was looking for. I opened it and everything appeared to be packaged carefully, but as I followed the instructions I realized that parts of the frame that needed to be inserted into each other were completely bent. I was ready to pack the thing back up and return it but I decided to try and make it work so I got out my hammer and had to reshape it and was able to squeeze it in. In the end, it looks nice and I was able to make it work but if you do purchase this bench be prepared to put in some work to make parts fit.

Perfect as an ottoman in my loft living room. Also great as a cocktail table to put a dish on or drink. It can be done. Easy to put together. And comfy as a foot rest.

I bought this as a dining bench. It is big and sturdy! It is wider than most of bench which I really like. The color of the bench is a little darker than the photos. It took about 20 minutes to assemble.

For the money, it looks good and seems solid. Again, this is not a high quality piece of furniture you will hand down to your descendant but it is good for the price ($149).
