The new wonderland
Completed reading this book last night. Congratulations! Enjoyed it thoroughly and got nicely transported to Alice’s world . Admired the range of vocabulary Satwik Gade has and his play with words ! Most of all I loved reading the snippets of philosophy and loved the humour in the writing .Best wishes for more such novels from the budding author and a brilliant future in the chosen path 👍👍❤️❤️

The Alice Project
I picked up this book as the title sounded interesting. The writing was captivating with the underlying philosophy, humour and the camaraderie between the friends makes it an interesting read. A book worth your time and money. Congratulations on your maiden venture and looking forward for many more from you.

Awesome Novel!
I had picked up this novel curious about the thought process of the Gex-X, what they think, what they write, and so on. Oh Boy, I was bowled over by the amazing narration. I am sure this is going to be a best-seller from a Graham Greene in the making!

superb book, hard to put it down till you finish reading it, waiting for part 2
I bought this book on a whim because I loved the cover art. And it is said never judge a book by its cover, and because this book is good that I can justify judging it as perfect. What a reader looks for in a book is really different at each stage of his life. Maybe 10-20 years earlier I may have reacted differently to this book. So lets make it clear I am now out of the midlife crisis age group metaphorically speaking not biologically. And now the characters in this book speak out to me in a “been-there-done-that” way. Clearly, I am not as adventurous as all of them, because I have led a comfortable life in my little bubble. While the characters went out and lived their lives away from their parental nest. But in the end the limited range of human interactions always means you can identify with something eventually. Honestly, younger me would think what's the big deal in writing this book. Seems like something simple that you could fit into a blog post. (yes I can be a bit delusional). But it takes some furrows on the forehead and under eye dark circles to realise that writing about the obvious in such a way that it's riveting isn’t easy.Apology for beating around the bush, but it's not my review style to spill character names and what parts I loved. But I do want to talk to someone who has read this book, as there is so much to dissect with introspection.Anyway, this book hit some personal milestones, it's the fastest book I have completed reading in a long time. I mean, considering having to find time from work, home responsibilities and endless scrolling on mobile distractions. And credit to the author for making me laugh while reading a book. I don’t remember the last time I smiled so much while reading any book. (maybe speaks to my reading choices). But then when you identify with the emotions of the characters, the occasional tear trickles down. Is it because I am sad or is it because they are tears of satisfaction. Satisfaction of realising that what goes on in your mind isn’t really a unique case of the human psyche but an ordinary portrayal sensationalised by a mastermind. Now I feel like how Alice feels when talking to Javed. Maybe it wasn’t such a good thing to write this review at 1 am in the night, fresh of the emotional overload of reading such an emphatically engaging book. It's not even a murder mystery/thriller, the types that are usually “ hard-to-put-down-till-I-get-to-the-end”. But maybe it is, right ? Life is a mystery! But are we too eager to get to the end? Or wouldn’t we all prefer to live in our bubbles!I wish I had friends like Alice has, but that would mean I would have to be as engaging as him. I kinda feel I agree with Snigdha a lot too, but my brain doesn't want to accept it.Ok, I am done with the review, or else I will reveal everything. So to conclude, buy this book and read it. If you do not find it amazing then it would be a quick read. But if you do love, I think you will. Then I am sure you will cherish it. Because I will, and I am going to carry it around with me. Like some characters in movies do, “I always have this book with me, I read it and help me to keep going” and in the climax of the movie, the book saves their life by taking a hit from a bullet, lol!!Extras:-I loved this book so much that I followed the author on instagram and tried to find in photos if I could find reference to the characters he wrote. (Is it weird ? Is it stalking? Or am I a “stan” now) Also tagged him in instagram stories !! a bit too much right ?Bonus tip:- (Spoilers).....At page 207 I wanted the book to end, it was perfect.
