Works great. It’s been a great helper getting my daughter up the ramps in the garage. It was a great value, the instructions were easy to follow, and it is built well.

I installed the handle on the outside frame of a sliding glass door just before 2 steps that lead out to our porch. It allows my mother to brace herself when she steps down to the porch or up to the house. Then it quickly folds up out of the way for the rest of us (at least until I get old enough that I need it too). The handle itself is plenty sturdy. Mounting it on wood framing is easy, but I had concrete block. To avoid it pulling the screws out of the block because of lateral torque, I was able to glue and bolt a piece of wood to the concrete and then attach the handle. Maybe someone who really knows how to use concrete screws could skip adding the wood, but my results were good.

This device enables my 94 yo mother to negotiate the one step into our front door. It’s strong and reliable (mounted correctly) and since it folds up when not in use, doesn’t get in the way of others carrying things in or out the door..

This was easy to install and the width will fit onto one 2x4 (1 1/2 inches) in the wall. There are 4 screws that I pre-drilled into the wall after finding the stud with my stud finder. The handle is magnetic so it stays up when pushed up against the wall.

We placed the unit in a doorway at top of stairs. It was easy to install. Too about five minutes. It appears to be sturdy and provides security when taking the last step which is above regular hand rail. I have it four stars only because I did think it was just a bit pricy but it is a good unit and fixed our problem.

This is the perfect grab bar for my husband who is disabled. The best part is that it flips up out of the way when not in use, plus it isn’t as bulky as traditional grab bars. It arrived on time, was simple to install (make sure it is installed in a stud for safety!) and is easy to flip down to use.

Serves purpose well

Great for helping my mom up from a step up/down kitchen to living room.
