I'm new to study again after a break of 20 years and a decission to make a career change - I found this book to be easy to navigate, it has a good reference system and it explains each chapter in laymans terms, it's a book for dummies really although I'm not claiming to be one.I would recommend this book to anyone who needs a push in the right direction whether new to studying or not, it's a good tool to have and makes essay writing a whole simpler.

This is an absolute must have for any student filled with a wealth of help, tips and strategies to help you get the most from your studies.Presented in an excellent format of bitesized chunks with activities, quizzes,explanations, graphics, question and answers all designed to help you find out how you learn best. I can't recommend it enough! As ever sold on Amazon for the best price with fast delivery too. Win Win!

Good overview on general study tipsGood for a level students going to uniI'm a mature student and it wasn't that great for me, but I passed it on to a younger family member who's 18&just started uni. She loves it and found it useful As it tells you hoe to prepare for studying at university level and general tips which I know but I wouldn't have known at 18!

I'm preparing to go back into study and this book is an absolute must for anyone going further in studies or returning to study after a break. it's easy to read and has a wealth of ideas for improving the memory, recalling what you already know along with extremely helpful tips on essays, dissertations and research writing. I'm so glad I took my tutors advice and brought this book. I'd recommend it to everyone entering high education.

Brilliant support when studying every student needs one

This book sent to me, and me in particular, and I don't mind this, looks like it has been used by somebody who wanted to inspect a sanitary apparatus, urgently. If so, I'm pleased to have my item picked for such an honour.It does not look new. But did I buy it "USED" anyhow? I cannot recall.Nobody's fault. At least the pages don't stick together and it is still a book - I can still learn from it, after all, and it is a 'Fourth Edition'.I recommend all...but the (accidental) one-off mess, but I don't care about that, so there!

Arrived in good time, pristine, and happy with my purchase. Needed this book to help with essay and research writing for uni.

Please write in unambiguous language; it is a handbook every student should have.

Das ist ein wirklich tolles Buch! Absolute Empfehlung von mir. Ich habe "The Study Skills Handbook" während meinem Studium entdeckt und es hat mich sehr unterstützt.

This is a good book with useful info but for me I found it a bit too visually cluttered.
