Relatively easy to apply, sticks well, helpful guide markings, very pleased with result.
Good quality film, thick enough to apply well, and the markings on the backing paper are helpful for accurate cuts.I applied it to a bathroom door with 6 glass panels. For each panel, I overlapped the edges a little, stuck it on at the very top, then gradually peeled the backing off, smoothing it on to the glass with a soft cloth. Watch carefully for any air bubbles - if you're smoothing from the already stuck part downwards and outwards well you'll hardly get any, but if you're watching carefully, any that do form can be dealt with by gently peeling the film away again just enough to smooth out the air then continue onwards.I then pressed the edges carefully right in to the edges of the frame of each pane with a somewhat blunt wallpaper scraper, then trimmed round the edges with a sharp craft knife carefully, and the end result is fantastic - I'm very pleased.Make sure you clean the glass really well beforehand, both to help ensure decent adhesion, but to avoid annoying bits of dust or dirt sandwiched between the film and the glass, as that will look nasty.Look carefully at the pattern - in some parts it could go either way without looking too wrong, but some bits it's fairly clear which way it's supposed to be, and when you get to the birds - well, they'll be glaringly obvious if you end up with them upside down. I recall that I actually had to have the writing on the backing paper backwards and, I believe, work from the "inside" end of the roll out since I found it easier to work from top down. The birds are a rare part of the design - in my bathroom door, I ended up with two, which I positioned so one was in the top left pane and one was in the bottom right. I was careful to make sure they wouldn't end up being cut off either, as I think half a bird would look a bit silly!Of course, the end result is the important bit - and I'm very pleased. It looks stylish, the pattern looks good, the texture in the more heavily misted areas looks very nice, and it does the job - you can't see any details in the bathroom, but it still lets sufficient light through. Winner!

The package arrived within a few days and the goods were well protected in a sturdy cardboard box
Wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this item. I needed something to give me some privacy while sitting in my conservatory. I looked at having blinds fitted but the prices quoted where very high. I happened to stumble upon this item, read the reviews from other customers and ordered a couple of rolls. The package arrived within a few days and the goods were well protected in a sturdy cardboard box. I set about the task ahead. A good tool to use when unrolling the sticky back plastic would be a wallpaper pasting table if you have one. Unfortunately I don't and I had to use the floor. I measured the windows and then marked up the roll. Cutting wasn't straight forward. I had ordered the application kit along with the rolls but I found the small cutting knife wasn't ideal and didn't always cut through the plastic first time. In the end I used a pair of very sharp scissors. I cleaned the windows first and then applied the plastic. Using the tool I had purchased I carefully pushed out any air bubbles as I unrolled the plastic down the window. I was very surprised and happy that the application was trouble free and the result was much better than I expected. The amount of privacy the plastic cover gives is really good from inside and out. My only tip is not to rush the application. Take your time when fitting and hopefully you will be as happy with the results as I am. I can now sit in my conservatory knowing that I'm not being overlooked by the neighbouring houses.

Easy to use and Lovely to look at
I bought this window film for my glass door and I must say it has a lovely frosted pattern. You can't really notice it on the image posted here but the design shows a frosted image of tree leaves and birds. The paper on which the film is stuck to has grids and measurements - which means that you can easily get your measurements right whilst allowing you to cut in a straight line - something that helped me hugely as I do have clumsy fingers! Before I began I made sure that the glass surface was thoroughly cleaned and dried before applying the window film.Once I got the film cut to size (and it is so easy), I began by peeling back a little of the paper and with a second pair of hands (highly recommended if covering a large surface) I stuck the film to the top of the glass door, making sure that the film tucked neatly into the edges. Any surplus film can easily be trimmed, though it shouldn't be too hard to get the measurements right the first time.Once I was happy with this, I slowly began to peel the rest of the paper whilst smoothing the film as I went along - this was to prevent bubbles from forming. In my case, bubbles did form but I just slowly took off the film where the bubble had formed and re-did that part again. It is important not to rush the job as you could be left with lots of tiny bubbles and once stuck for long, you may find the film more difficult to peel off.The window film has a light and airy look to it - so that it keeps the room looking light whilst allowing the sun to still shine through. At night, the image is even more stunning because the frosted design stands out against the dark back-drop of the night. All in all, the window film is relatively easy to apply and the design is fantastic to look at. My mom is constantly admiring it!Highly recommended product.
