Wow! A nice upgrade for a weak part.
This APPERFiT Shift Interlock Latch Lever Repair Kit was the perfect replacement for a poorly designed (as in weak plastic) part for my Chrysler car. Imagine my surprise when I went to pull the car out of the garage in preparation for showing it to a prospective buyer, and I could no longer shift it into gear! The replacement part is made of metal, and is considerably stronger than the part that it replaces. I would imagine that the replacement part will out live the car. Installation was not difficult; I followed one of the many YouTube videos on this subject, and got the job done in a few hours. A garage would have charged me many hundreds of dollars, and likely insisted on replacing the larger, and considerably more expensive, shifter mechanism, rather than addressing the failed part.

Perfect replacement part
Purchased to fix a friend’s shifter. Replaces the factory plastic piece that breaks. Fairly easy to install. Will last longer than the car.

Perfect fix for 07 SRT8 300C
SRT8 300 wouldn't come out of park even using overrode button in console. This replaces plastic junk that spring mount breaks on. Comes with springs, no instructions use U tubes.

fixed my stuck in park 2007 Dodge Charger 2.7L SE
this part exactly fit and fixed my broken shifter interlock piece that is a very common issue with these year models 2005-2007 chargers. was very easy to replace on my own (just ensure you watch the You Tube video on how to replace it first lol)
