Here is a tip for heavy storage and stacking
Superb storage boxes at a very good price. The material from which they are made is not as thick as the ones that cost around £40 for 10 but I have found a way to both fill them with heavy goods AND stack them to at least 4 high without even sign of buckling. It is simple. I have used all my 10 boxes for storing books. The trick is to place and stack the books right up to height / the lip of the box before placing the cover on it. This is necessary for all save the box to be put at the top level. So when they are vertically stacked the weight is carried not by the cardboard walls of the boxes but the books themselves at the lower levels. With the weight resting on the books rather than the box walls believe me you can put many, many kilos at each level of the stack. Admitted what I describe is for book storage but I am sure this idea could be adapted for other goods.

An array of these makes a cheap portable bed base; you can put a lot of your house in them when you move.
I bought these for use as an easy-to-move bed base (seriously - check the various videos out there). They are decent and sturdy enough to sleep on with a latex mattress straight on top of them though I use a load spreading set of foam tiles as well now (previously a couple of layers of flattened cardboard). A friend came to stay and stood on the edge of the mattress of the guest bed...and his foot collapsed one of the lids immediately; we just lifted the mattress up and swapped the damaged lid for an undamaged one from the centre of the array much to everybody's amusementThey can be folded into boxes / re-flattened easily many times. They are big enough to put serious and multiple household items in without the 'one thing per box because it is already full' scenario while being strong enough to withstand being lifted when you have got things in them. I wouldn't want to fill them completely with books or paper and try this though - even if this is their design function.

Works well but more fragile than the previous similar model
As an archival box it works fairly well, but it seems to me rather more fragile than the previous model (probably a consequence of manufacturing being outsourced):* The system automatic-fold system makes the bottom rather less robust.* The cover is very flimsy, and the box wall seem weaker, than older models of the same box.Overall it is fine for storing lightweight items, like clothes, but not for books or paper files. For those I much prefer the smaller similar boxes that are also much more robust.

Not sturdy enough, and neither is the outer box...
I bought these to transport files to our new home. I found that each box could only be filled to about two thirds as any more and the box handles would tear. This is odd given the use to which these boxes are supposed to be put. In short, they are not sturdy enough. Also, the outer box from the manufacturer, Fellowes, had burst during transit as it was resealed with the courier's tape. I found one box lid missing, presumably as a result of this mishap.

Expensive for a pretty design
Very pretty design but compared to regular heavy duty banker boxes they are very expensive and not as sturdy. Unless you are having these in display, would stick to the regular bankers boxes.
