Upon ordering my most recent bag of Rocky Grind, Amazon showed me that I'd purchased it 22 times previously - it's been my go-to ground coffee for a good few years now, and I think that's because it's a great all-rounder.Is it strong? It certainly is, but it doesn't have the anxiety inducing, racing heartbeat effect that other 'super strong' coffees do. It's more subtle, but it will for sure wake you up.Strong though it is, the flavour is not sacrificed in any way - in fact it is the best tasting ground coffee I've ever tried, and I've tried a lot. It isn't bitter (which comes with the territory for most strong coffees), but it certainly isn't sickly sweet. It has a smooth, lightly roasted flavour... almost like the equivalent of a hearty meal that hits the spot just right.It is a tad on the expensive side, but it is very much a case of you get what you pay for. Plus, consder that you'd get about 4 takeaway coffees for the price of a bag of this, and they probably don't taste this good! Considering that a bag of this lasts me almost exactly a month (one coffee every morning, ocassionally a second one in the afternoon) that's very good value in relative terms. Plus it's fair-trade, as every coffee should be these days - it's worth remembering that the end price for the consumer isn't the be all and end all when it comes to cost.Overall I can't recommend this coffee enough - our personal tastes all vary, but you owe it to yourself to at least try it.

I love this coffee. Great taste, full bodied . Nice and strong. Only trouble is , about 15-20% of them just stop working halfway through the making process in my Nespresso machine. It just seems to block up for no apparent reason. No other coffee pods do this. However, saying that, I like this coffee so much I am continuing to purchase it hoping it is just a faulty batch.

I like strong coffee, I have always drunk the equivalent of 8-15 espressos per day. So I wasn’t worried about claims of “strongest” coffee. However I should have been. Sons Of Amazon is strong from the first mouthful, but stupidly I ignored this and continued to drink an entire thermos - a large espresso pot - on top of my first morning cup - and all this before lunch. I quickly developed shortness of breath and a cough which under the current climate I could not quite believe I was suddenly having covid19 signs. I was hot and sweaty and then I realised I was tachycardic my heart was racing and like an idiot I had essentially OD’d on your sensibly titled “strong” coffee. This all settled within 30-40 min and I was able to run 6km immediately. But it is a warning that your coffee is accurately advertised. Since then I have gone down to 8 -10 espressos per day of Sons if Amazon and a milder roasted coffee in the gaps, as it were. The flavour is solid and balanced. There is no excessivebitterness although I drink it with oat milk barista so I am unable to comment on its palatability as a pure espresso. My regular supplier is out of action due to covid and I have been in search of a replacement. Sons of Amazon has reassured me that this is not going to be a problem.ThanksHoracio

This is the stuff I've been looking for!I always loved a strong coffee and have felt like the American branded stuff like "death wish coffee co." etc was very over priced, and nowhere near as strong as promised on the bag.After a long time of searching I decided to try the Sons of amazon stuff and honestly I couldn't look back after this. The stuff has a very strong taste, Very rich and palatable, but the incredible bit is the caffeine. With other coffee companies I can drink the stuff for hours with no real feel of alertness. with Sons of Amazon I've had one cup today and I feel like I'm ready to take on anything.Being a Glasgow lad as well it's amazing to be able to support a company so close to home as well which they 100% deserve. If you want strong, fairtrade coffee at a reasonable price then this stuff is for you!

Ho acquistato questo caffè (devo ammetterlo) per la confezione.Fa una gran scena da presentare agli amici quando vengono a cena "te la senti di bere il caffè che resuscita i morti"?Alla fine la qualità del caffè si sente (normalmente bevo lavazza da negozio). L'aroma è gradevole. Sinceramente non sento la quantità "esagerata" di caffeina ... non mi ha fatto passare notti insonni.

The coffee was smooth so i didnt expect it to be as strong. I was wrong it keeps you going for a while. I thought it would be like a energy drink feel but was a steady and gradual feel when it came to energy levels.

Jeden Morgen einen schönen, leckeren Espresso mit wunderbarer Crema geniessen. Der Kaffee ist ausserdem schön stark und somit perfekt zum Aufwachen. Schon die Bohnen haben ein wunderbares Aroma. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

No me parece fuerte nil y discrepo totalmente de la cafeína que afirman que tiene , por supuesto es mi opinión no lo he analizado en un laboratorio, eso sí el sabor y el aroma es excelente.
