For marking metal (but you already knew that!)
Bought to marking drill hole positions and for cut lines on oil drums. The line are a consistent thickness and stand out well against the oil drum paint (even yellow).Just remember that because the ink/paint is valve controlled you'll have to carefully press down on the nib a few times until the ink/paint starts to flow,

The best marker I’ve used so far. Works well on steel, even when covered in rust or millscale. Would be even better if there was a narrow tip version.

white marker
I like using the "paint markers" for labelling and marking out on metal but find they work initially then mess around so I thought I'd try this as an alternative.The tip isn't as fine as some markers but it works very well as long as you allow for this. I've been using it on metal surfaces and it's performing well. This is water based so if you want something semi-permanent this probably isn't for you but if you want to be able to remove it easily........this is what you need!
