I bought this due to ongoing water issues in my small town. I think they are tightwads run by a small family or something. Too cheap to do the right thing til they get inspected. Anywaus, this filtered water pitcher is great. Not the heavy duty feeling you would expect, but still sturdy enough for everyday use, and not flexible as some habe suggested. It does have a little LED light at the pouring edge to let you know the water qaualkty is still good to use. Says its good for up to 6mo before changing colors to let you know. I havent drank any tap water here in the 6 or 7 yrs ive been here. But with this, ive had it 2mo...ive drank more water at home, not from a bottle, than i ever have. It tastes great, with hardly any noticeable flavor. Ive had bottle water with more taste than this has. The filter def does its job. Without lab testing it, i couldnt tell you just how clean it is, but theres its the cleareat ive seen here. Normal tap water here has a slight just off the clear spectrum tint to it sometimes. I think too much chlorine or something. I will def buy another filter soon, so im ready for the swap in about 3 or 4mos. Or when the LED turns orange maybe. Just to get ahead. If you want a good filtered water pitcher, i would recommend one of these.

Water tastes great, filter flashes green when it is still good, so you know if you need to change it. Since it holds a lot of water, it can be a slight heft to lift when full, but probably only an issue for older folks.

I think this is a great alternative for folks who have humble incomes but don't want to fill the world with plastic water bottles. I now have two! The water tastes great, and I consistently use the ultra filters - which seem to make a difference, too. Excellent choice for those without installed reverse osmosis at home.

We have had Brita water pitchers for many years. Love how it takes the chemical taste from our tap water and turns it into bottle water! I had bought a new Brita a couple of years ago and since we are using it so much, I decided to buy another one. Boy, what a difference in the quality. The whole thing is cheaply made compare to the previous one. Disappointed! The water capacity is good - anymore would make it too heavy. The filter is very easy to replace and last a decent amount of time. The best thing about Brita is making our water taste better!
