Hilda and the Midnight Giant

My son got his first Hilda book this year & he loved it. He has read the whole thing cover-to-cover multiple times to his five year old brother, who wanted his own Hilda book & is learning to read from it. A great story, with a lot to think about. We just love it

This comic (graphic novel) is amazing and to say I’m so glad it got made into a cartoon would be an understatement. Hilda’s world transports you to a world of adventure. The colour pallet for the books and show are just beautiful and I love the fact that the original illustrations differ from the animation because it gives you something different to look at and it’s a double treat. I recommend anyone to watch Hilda and read the comics with a lovely cup of herbal tea followed by a round of dragon panic ;-) If you know you know. Defo worth the money even if you have already watched the show. There are differences to enjoy and the feel and texture of the comics are a treasure and a treat. Buy them all! Seriously, from a person who is obsessed with buying sets I can say with clear conscience, buy em all and treat yourself! 😂
