I so badly wanted to give this book 5 stars, because it is really good! However I have had to give only 1 star because of information on page 30 regarding hedgehogs that could potentially kill a hedgehog.The information “Saucers of cat food or bread and milk will often attract hedgehogs. Feeding a hedgehog bread or milk, could be potentially fatal for a hedgehog as they are lactose intolerant and they cannot get any nutritional value from bread. I am shocked information like that would be in this book given that what other information in the book is incorrect? Had it not been for this major incorrect advice, I would have given 5 stars.

Good book, lovely photos.Can’t understand why this book , like other books suggests givinghedgehogs milk and bread. When all the wildlife programs say not to, becausethey are lactose intolerant. Hence the three stars.

Bought as a present for friends that have a lot of wildlife around them. It has a lot of information and pictures and I think it's very interesting
