Beautiful wrapping!!
received my first Furoshiki from a Japanese friend when I visited Japan with my husband. I loved it though I’ve never had a chance to use it.. because the size wasn’t right and the design was too classic Japanese for my taste unfortunately. When I found this one, it gave me the thrill of excitement and fell in love with the product, especially with the design that I love and it’s different from ordinary Furoshiki, it’s stylish and modern so that I can use daily! I thought this must be the “spark joy” moment!!! The material is a lot smoother and softer than normal cotton. It’s as described and it’s wearable as suggested but I mainly use it when I wrap gifts and lately as a handbag. It is hard to believe that it is printed by hand, it’s so delicate and beautiful, I feel the craftsmen spirit!! I really enjoy using it and I love the idea of its history and Japanese people how to treat things with respect, I even feel guilty when I use wrapping papers and plastic bags. So I try to use it more often myself and totally recommend to friends!

Unique and Beautiful Way to Wrap a Gift
The Japanese art of wrapping with fabric is called Furoshiki. It involves using a square piece of cloth to wrap and carry items, often for gift-giving or transporting goods. Furoshiki is a versatile and eco-friendly practice, offering a sustainable alternative to traditional wrapping paper (taken from Google).I got this to wrap my best friend's birthday gift and it turned out perfect. She's going to Japan this year and has been trying to immerse herself in the culture, so this felt like a thoughtful touch.Things I like:*It came with clear instructions showing a bunch of ways to use it*It's super versatile, you can wrap gifts, carry things, or even wear it*I love that it can be tied into a little handbag*The pattern is lovely and the cotton feels soft and high quality*It's really lightweight, which is great if you're using it in summerThings I don't like:*It's a little see-through, so I used tissue paper to hide the gift inside. Not a big deal, just something to be aware ofI haven't used a furoshiki before, but I’m really happy with this one. It made the gift feel extra special and I'd definitely recommend it.

Beautiful Cloth!
I really love this cloth. The pattern is beautiful and it's very soft. The fabric is thin but not flimsy, if that makes sense. It really feels like a beautiful quality. I'm not sure what I'll use it for yet. I feel like it could be used for so many things. I may use it as a table cloth on the small portable table that I often take to events. I've even thought that it could be used as a summer top by tying it different ways, or even a sarong. I also really like the idea of using it as a bag by folding it a certain way. So many possibilities! It folds up fairly small and it's light, so it's super portable to put in a bag and pull it out when needed. I may get some more of these just because I love it so much.
